We ended up in Oulu with no accomodation, through no fault of our own,
We headed to the Tourist Centre where we were looked after very well by Rosa. She was very very kind and extremely helpful in trying to find us a bed.

Rosa and Jenni at Oulu Tourist Info Office were BRILLIANT!! They went far beyond the usual just suggesting brochures for my travels in Oulu & Finland, to making phone calls to several organisations for me (I don’t speak Finnish) and checking/finding the many details I needed for my long adventures on public transport. They answered all of my many questions with smiles and laughter and even included some help on how to pronounce the Finnish ‘RRRR’! :-) A 100% excellent service. :-)

Had some problems looking for RT-PCR Test Stations in Oulu, Finland, Trying to locate a most economical one. I have sent email to Oulu Tourism Office.
A lady in the office, Ms Tarja Ikola was very kind to help me searching through. She even called to the labs to confirm the information before replied to me the options.

I had several requests on tours, guides and activities in and around Oulu and they were very helpful and always sent me several links so I could check which option is the best for us. The staff was very friendly and I can definately recommend them!

This in in Torikatu in downtown Oulu and nearby the Holy Trinty Cathedral. It has maps but not too many brochures in English

I have manage perfectly to visit the following places: Oulu, Vaasa, Pori, Tampere, Kuopio, Turku, Espo, Helsinki & Åland . And I must admit that, I have never seen such a beautiful and an incredible warm service much as Oulu Tourist Office. Not only that, but Oulu Info Tourist Center and the team are far greater than most of the tourist information centers that I visited in 103 countries.

Staff was very nice and helped us plan our itinerary. Easy to find in the heart of the city. Gave us a map and all the brochures we needed. Recommend a visit here as soon as you arrive.

It's a bit tucked away behind a shop but there are clear signs outside. I found the Tourist office and very nice woman gave me a leaflet with a couple of walking tours. There is a fine collection of leaflets on attractions in and around the city. It is spacious so perhaps it gets crowded at times. I also got a map of local buses.

I do not know if the lady's name was Matkailuneuvoja but it it was her she was very helpful and patient and answered all my questions and gave me tourist brochures in English as Finnish would be useless as I can't understand Finnish!
