Disappointing experience. I wish I read the honest 1-star reviews. First of all, the Jenga 500m tour I booked and paid in advance (in case it was sold out) was FALSELY advertised as 30 MINUTES for 30 EUR/adult and I thought it's a pretty cool price for a 30 min ride, compared to other other places... yeah, too good to be true! We got roughly 1-min/min and half on the dog sleigh (one lap, which may or may not have been 500m) for 30 EUR. Can you please not mislead people so badly?! Just write 500m lap 30EUR. Without the 30 mins nonsesne.
At least, it was a private sleigh-ride, they don't force another group in the same sleigh with you, and the staff takes some pictures of you but only if you ask! Otherwise it's a basic "get in, get out" process. (I can see this has been edited since my Google review was posted. But Duration: 30 minutes is still there...)
The hugging area is a pure rip-off, 10 EUR/person (a woman begged to have her daughter let in for free which was somehow allowed, too after everyone else paid and got to witness this). You get to see 3 huskies running around, not caring at all about you or the other humans - playing among themselves (which is understandable, based on the small cages)! You can barely pet these dogs! They are neither friendly nor they are interested in pets. At all. I would go as far as they were SCARED of human contact! One of them was less unfriendly than the others. We got a few pieces of snacks for the dogs, that's when we got some reaction out of them, but they still weren't keen to be petted. Just pulled away the moment I extended my hand. More like "hunt for a hug" area! I'm a big animal person, I always get insane pictures of/with animals and this experience was just so alien to me. Something isn't right. Dog lovers and animal people will understand.
Overall, I feel lied to, disappointed and ripped-off. Wouldn't recommend. Try a longer ride elsewhere and definitely DO NOT go to the hugging area for zero experience - unless you can beg your way in for free. Avoid!

I did the 500 m ride and it was too short. It should be an option.
It took just less than 1 minute for the ride so we could even enjoy it.

The sled ride with the husky dogs was really fun and awesome for us (we came from far away!). The dogs were really beautiful and our 5 years old kid had so much fun. Next time I hope we can book a longer ride. Nice to touch the dogs and see them runing fast!!!!

Adorable doggos that mostly played around. It took a bit for them to warm up to us, but after that we were able to pet them to our hearts content! Honestly just watching the puppies play was fun enough for me. Be aware of the fur, it gets everywhere!

I did not enjoy seeing huskies closed in cages and most of them loooked sad and unhappy. i booked the husky hugging as I had a different expectation of it in my mind but when I went I realized it’s an actual zoo with huskies closed. And Batman looked so unhappy sitting there and did not seem to enjoy being petted by people.

The 5km ride with the huskies was amazing!
Too bad we can't pet the dogs when paying dearly for a 5km game drive.

We went for a 500m sled dog ride and then took a tour of the farm. The dogs are superb and the ride was wonderful. The musher was very friendly and even offered to take a photo of us once we were in the sled. The dogs look well treated and are beautiful. I recommend this experience!

The ride was fantastic. The kids enjoyed it a lot. Guide could have been more friendly, there was no option to take a photo of us in the sledge (another guide offered this to the people in his sled). However, he allowed my daughter to pet one of the dogs.

Great fun and a unique experience, a bit expensive when you have a family doing it but a once in a lifetime experience. We were a family of teens qnd young kids and all enjoyed it.Wrap up well.x

I’m looking too book a 2km ride for myself, husband and 2 kids (5yrs & 3yrs). I saw prices are for 4yrs and up. Are 3yr olds allowed on the ride? Also do you have transport to your farm from Rovaniemi city center. I would like to know the best way to get to there. Booking directly with you is much cheaper than through a tour company as they cost 125€+ per person. Thank you.

I saw from the website that the husky ride cost €30 for 500m,€40 for 2km, jus wanna check if thermal overall is included in this price or we have to pay additional for the rental of the thermal overall?

Hi and thank you for your message! Unfortunately we don't offer thermal clothing, I am sorry. However, you don't need anything special, just normal winter clothes are more than fine. :) We have reindeer furs in the sled to sit on, and you can also ask our guides some blankets to warm you up, if you like.
