This was our first stop where we were kitted out with thermal clothing and boots for the duration of our stay, they also did all the pick up and drop offs from start to finish.
Part of our trip included the Snow fun day Combo which We thought was great. We opted for separate Ski-Dos as we both wanted to drive and they were great fun, we had a tiny little french guide who was lovely. Although the reindeer ride was short the young girl who looks after them was very knowledgable and has a lovely singing voice. The huskies were fast and thrilling and beautiful well cared for dogs, eager to run and also be petted with stunning eyes.
We then booked the Snowmobile Safari ( different guide ) to look for the Northern lights and were a little disappointed they didn’t appear but also the edge was taken off the ride as we had 2 couples with us on their first trip who weren’t confident enough to drive at more that 5-10 mph so it was more like a slow plod and frustrating, especially as it was 184e each.
We also did the day trip into Rovaniemi just for a change of scenery.
Overall a professional company with safety and fun in mind.

The morning of the rental we called the place and a friendly receptionist told that they have two snowmobiles ready in 1 hour. All the paperwork was fast and easy. The rental included 2 snowmobiles, shoes, outdoor overalls, gloves, balaclavas and helmets. We didn’t have to pay for the extra pair of outfits even though we only rented 2 snowmobiles for 4 people.
The rental for 4 hours was 120€ per snowmobile which was a decent price. The worker showed us a map of all the routes and told the approximate times a route would take (we got the map with us). The worker also gave us recommendations on the routes for first timers. She also told us that kelkkareitit.fi is a website that shows also all the routes and realtime location in case you are lost on your mobile.
The routes were beautiful and snowmobiles were easy to use and in good condition. Overall the whole day of rental went well and we all recommend this place!

We decided to go for the 3hr snowmobile safaris. Our guide Marc was absolutely amazing, very passionate, good communication skills (we are French and we could easily speak with him in French), we spent a great evening and he managed to take us to a beautiful spot where we saw Northern lights. I truly recommend Wild Nordic and a big thank you to Marc!!!

Categorically the worst excursion of our trip to Lapland, and we saved this for our last night too and couldn’t have been more disappointed. The experience we had couldn’t have been more contrasting to the reviews, so I really don’t get it
To start, there is no dip in the lake or lake swimming, so if you’ve booked this as the main feature don’t waste your time. The sauna is tiny and is attached to a toilet and shower, you will get better in your gym at home. There is a hot tub outside but this wasn’t hot enough and we had to get out. There are zero other activities, no snow games, no log fire, your children will be bored just like us adults.
We were never told there were food options, it’s either salmon with mushroom sauce or vegetarian. None of us eat fish, but weren’t told of any alternative. You’re not even offered a drink, just water in a bottle, no soft drink, beer or wine. After food tea & coffee was offered.
There was zero atmosphere, the whole thing was so awkward & uncomfortable, we felt like we weren’t welcome at all.
We’ll be requesting a refund from Wild Nordic as this was £500 for 4 people and I wouldn’t pay £50 for what we received

Magical 1 hour snobile ride with Ola.
Worth the money- do it, you will remember it forever and cherish it! I started crying from too much beauty😁 seriously!!
I told my husband I would swap and drive but decided not to - in order to be able to soak up the beauty without the distraction of driving.
The snow mobile is easy to operate. It can go quite fast, but feels very safe.
Our son is 8yo and Ola offered for him to go on the leading snowmobile with him, instead of in the sleigh, Ola stood on the side so our son had the best views and obviously the best ride😁.
Our guide Ola also dropped us off in town afterwards. The reception team was very accommodating and the place is just two minutes from Santas village, just via the underpass.
Thank you Ola for being the top guide and just a genuine diamond. Ps: you work too hard! Good luck in the silly season.
Tip: bring drivers licence👍🏻
Protective winter clothing are given to you
Small children ( alone or with a parent) can also go on this trip in a cute red sleigh attached to the guide

Highly recommend going on tour with this company. We had a highlight of the trip. Our guide Renato lead us in the forest far away from other big groups. He showed our kids how to make fire, give them candies when they got cold he had kids frisbee in backpack so he played with them in deep snow to warm up. Beautiful evening.

Used the services of the company in Nurmes and rented a snowmobile. Very good rental experience, snowmobiles are in good shape and inspected after previous rent. Renting agreement was detailed and all questions were answered. Definitely can be recommended!

The snowmobile trip was amazing.
Sasha got us the exact experience we were hoping for!
I highly recommend it for people that want to experience the nature around Rovaniemi from an adventurous viewpoint.
The service was great, and they provided us with the exact gear we needed for this experience.
If you're open to some action and adventure, it's a must do!

This was unreal. My group had Michael as the guide and he was fantastic. Very professional and very fun and made riding the snow mobile one of the best action experiences I’ve ever done. Would highly recommend

Had a private tour with Alexis, very nice guy, very nice tour. Just an awesome experience! Did see the Northern Lights although it was too cloudy. The ride on the snowmobile was very nice and out tour guide gave us good instructions to drive safe. So if you are looking for a night tour in search for the Northern Lights, i recommend to go here and ask for Alexis!

We visited Rovaniemi at the new year. Here is a public question to Wild Nordic Finland Oy. We paid to your company and did not get any service. I suppose you heard this issue. What is your comment to your staff and your organization?
When you visit Rovaniemi or the other places in Lapland, Finland, be careful of this Wild Nordic Finland Company. We paid this activity and supposed to get a pick up service from the hotel. Nobody came. We called them and they said the driver came and did not find us and left. We were waiting for them at the hotel lobby all the time and they even did not call us if they really "came and did not find us". The guy who answered the phone was rude and refused to tell his name. They refused to refund the money. They know tourist will not stay there long. We could not do anything to them

Almost all flights have seen the Northern Lights!
If there have been bad/cloudy weather and no change for Northern Lights we have cancelled flight and operated another day, if ok for customer.

We are hoping to go as a family of 4, 2 children ages 8 and 3, so we r lookin at 4 nights with all the Santa things and other trips etc, am I better booking a package or booking separate acc and then booking the day trips etc TIA

There are several restaurants also located in the Santa Claus Village. The hotel has it's own restaurant, but there is also Santamus open on random dates on the week and totally new restaurant Kotahovi, in the wooden teepee of the Santa Claus Reindeer Farm.
