One of the most amazing tours you'll experience. We had a fantastic time from start to finish. We booked the 3 hour husky tour 15km journey that went through the forest, across the lake and we had a stop off for some cooked sausages and coffee. The tour groups are small, we were a group of 5 from a total of 16 so there were 4 husky sleighs. The scenery was incredible as its so remote in the wilderness. Our tour guides Andreas and Margo were both wonderful and very knowledgeable. We were able to pet the huskys and you could see that they cared for the animals. We were picked up and dropped off so it was very convenient. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience that we'll never forget.

This was an amazing experience overall and our first. We were picked up from the hotel on time and dropped off at the BearHill farm where we were received by our guides for the day. Anna/Anne, the guide for our group, was just amazing - she was funny, sweet and of course knew her stuff very well. Once we were outfitted into the provided winter gear (very warm and very secure), Anna gave us a quick run down of the do's and don't's while sledding. And then once we met the dogs and assigned a sled, we were on the move. The dogs are incredibly and just bubbling with energy to run and be on the go. If you're a dog lover, this is paradise and the barking of the Huskies can be heard from even a distance. The roughly 90 minutes ride took us through a pre-paid out circuit with a lot of time spend driving through the thick forest and the frozen lake. In terms of landscape and winter fun, you cant really ask for more. The experience of driving the sled with the dogs charging at the front is one of a kind. We only wish that after the first few minutes of settling in, we could go a little faster which would have helped to get a true feel of the winter expedition. Nevertheless, the experience was definitely worth it. At the end, we were given a brief tour of the kennels and served cookies and hot tea. Overall, a near perfect Lapland adventure.

Our tour was modified to accommodate the weather (lack of snow). We had the option to cancel and receive a full refund or do the modified tour at an adjusted price. We got to go on carts on a short course and it was amazing to see the dogs at work. What a wonderful place, you can see how well the dogs are looked after and how happy they are to run. The guides are all friendly and happy to answer questions and give information about the dogs. I would highly recommend Bearhill Husky, we now have a beautiful memory from our time in Lapland!

This place was truly amazing, after doing tonnes of research it was clear this place put the dogs before everyone and it felt that way on the day too. On the 1:30 hour tour they were so attentive and checked every dog on the route many times, they were always attentive to our needs too but the dogs came first which is how I would want it.

The experience of being in control of the dogs on the lake was unforgettable, thank you Bearhill!

Sensational experience & exceeded everyone's expectations. We were part of a tour group of 24, & the discussion after the tour was Exceptional!

From the moment we arrived, the staff were great - kitted out in warm overalls & gloves & boots, we were ready to get aboard our sled. Probably the only issue was 4 adults to a sled was a little uncomfortable at times & very 'close' we other people you don't know well.

the dogs were super enthusiastic about the run!

The mushers were great - loved their team & shared lots of information during the 5km tour predominantly across the frozen lake. Afterwards we could pat the dogs & feed them treats.

Afterwards we enjoyed a walk around the kennels receiving more information on the dogs lives throughout the seasons & breeding the dogs when it occurs.

They sold a few souvenirs but no push to buy or tip! I would definitely recommend this tour as a MUST

We spent the morning with Husky tours and had a 4km sled ride, at least 3 hours of interesting, informative well presented information at various places around the farm. Today there was no snow, so our ride was on a sled with wheels driven by a driver and so much fun. We saw many happy dogs working and others housed in clean large pens, all with homes to suit all weather conditions. Loved the flat roofing so the dogs could jump on top to enjoy the sun. Lunch of hot delicious salmon soup was served in a beautiful timber hut just big enough for 26 of us and 3 staff around a warming raised open fire pit. We learnt a lot about Husky behaviour and breeding strategies and the running of the farm. Our main host was passionate about the welfare of his dogs and their mental and physical heath throughout their lives, even explaining the retirement and re homing plans he has in place. A wonderful educational and reassuring morning with friendly genuine staff.

A wonderful trip. Campfire tour was a perfect length with a musher driving four of us through the forest and across a frozen lake. We stopped half way and spent time petting the dogs whilst we had a bbq and a hot drink round a fire. The mushers answered all our questions and were obviously devoted to their dogs. Absolutely wonderful experience.

It was amazing! The people are passionate about the animals, they take great care of the animals and they were wonderful with us, the tourists. I would highly recommend this company. They really make sure we are safe and have a good time. It was snowing and it was beautiful! The dog ride was about 20 mins...through the woods and over a big lake. Highly recommend!!

We went on a husky safari as an optional excursion with our Gate1 tour. Everyone at Bearhill Husky Tours is passionate about the dogs and they are well taken care of. The sled ride was driven by a professional so there was no anxiety on my part about having to drive the sled. We just sat back and enjoyed the ride through the forest and around a frozen lake. It was beautiful and peaceful. We also had a tour of the kennels where they explained how the dogs are raised, trained and cared for. That's why Gate1 chose this husky tour over many others. I highly recommend Bearhill Husky Tours.

Brilliant experience to learn about the huskies and be able to drive your own sled with the dogs. Friendly staff who explained everything clearly , Johanna our guide was excellent. They provide warm weather gear, overalls, boots, gloves and neck warmer if you don’t have your own. Must do experience
