We did the rafting on May and everything went really fine. The instructor was very informative and observant. We had a blast beginning to our bachelor party. Huge thanks to Sakke and the crew.

We have already done several tours with 66 Arctic Adventures. From photographing the Northern Lights ✨ to ice fishing 🎣 or hiking. Sakke is a fantastic guide. The tours are unique. Incredible experience provided by Sakke. He bought ice skates for all of us and went to a frozen lake, amazing! At the same time we made a hole in the ice with the purpose of going to a sauna and then get in the frozen lake. Unbelievable experience and impressive attention to detail by Sakke who also filmed everything to remember it forever

We had a wonderful experience with local guide Sakke. Also children thought the night walk in the forest was the best activity of their holiday. The distance walked was well planned and we got to walk in untouched snow. We had a very nice snack by a fire, which one of our children got to light with his friendly advice. We then grilled the food ourselves. Children also liked Sakke's cool bus with led lights. He also had fun stories that made us laugh a lot. All in all, a very nice, understanding and professional guide. Highly recommend!

It was so much fun to go on several tours with Sakke. He is a local, knows the region perfectly well and can tell you a lot about Finnish/Lapland culture.
I went on a northern lights tour with him and it was a great tour, although we didn't see the lights.
The second day was packed with all the typical Lapland activities and it was an incredibly good day! So much fun and beautiful nature!
I can only recommend to do a tour with Sakke!

Sakke was absolutely fantastic and we would wholeheartedly recommended booking a tour through him.
I booked a private snowshoeing tour through Sakke so that I could propose to my girlfriend and he helped me plan it. From discussing the itinerary to providing ideas, he was great help. On the day he was promptly on time, provided hiking gear and drove us to the most amazing place in Rovaniemi. He took great pictures and told us amazing stories about Rovaniemi. He cooked vegetarian food for us and gave us delicious gloggi and coffee. By the end of the tour Sakke was more of a friend than a guide. If my girlfriend and I ever return to Rovaniemi, we will book through Sakke again. Thanks for helping plan an amazing proposal and tour :)

Sakke was a great guide. We went out to the middle of the forest inside the artic circle and were lucky enough to see the northern lights! He provided warm clothing and gave a lot of insight into how the region of Lapland spends their time and love for mother nature. It was right up our alley being Floridians... we hiked out to a hiking cabin had Finnish sausage, sandwiches, and coffee with cheese next to a fire and met other hikers as well. It was a surreal experience and one we will never forget. Definitely looking forward to coming back! Thanks again Sakke! -the surfers :)

We contacted Sakke from 66 arctic adventures and got excellent recomendations on hiking trails around Rovaniemi. Also rented snowshoes for the hikes. Enjoyed very much on both places he recomended. Afterwards we joined him to a short icefishing experience which also was great.
If you're looking for a great experience you should contact Sakke. He was very nice and patient to answer all our requests. Seems he really knows all the right places to go and see.
We'll definitely go again if will be around.

You can see Northern lights in October and it goes better and better when days goes further. In the end of October is good to possibility see Northern lights. Do you want have Northern Lights trip? In some of the my pictures is aurora picture from October.

Will you pick us up from our hotel? There are two of us staying from the evening of the 6th so we have Monday and Tuesday free until we fly out. We would like to do husky sledging, ice fishing, ride a snow mobile and see the lights if the weather is right. We would love to do the hot tub and ice water too. Are you able to give us a guided tour for this and how long and how much will it cost.

Hi my husband and I arrive on the 6th December and have nothing booked or organised for Monday the 7th or 8th December fly out on the 9th. We would love to ride a sledge pulled by the husky dogs, snow mobiling, ice fishing, hot tub looks good and the bonus would be if we saw the lights. Open to ideas. How should we dress eg thermals warm Jersey and good coat?. We have booked our accommodation which is in town.
