Terrible experience with the worst tour company ever.
On Saturday I booked (in their office) a 3km husky safari for Monday. I leave them my name and my telephone number, writing it on a tiny piece of sheet. Talking with other people, I later realized that the 3 km mentioned above refers to a ring route much shorter than 3 km, which is repeated several times until the indicated mileage is reached; it would have been better to receive more details on this very small detail.
I show up at the agreed place at the indicated time, I talk to several employees, who find my reservation, and simply tell me to wait. After about half an hour of waiting, one of them realizes that we have been waiting for a long time, goes to find out more, and notices a problem. I am then invited to speak to the desk, who informs me that I had been mistakenly placed in a private group, and that I could therefore not have done the planned activity. The staff informed me that they had tried to contact me the day before, but that they had not found my contacts (how strange, the paper on which I had written them seemed to be really safe). In that way, I couldn't know about this mistake in time, and I couldn't manage another activity with another tour company (what fair competition!).
The staff was unwilling to find a solution, if not offer a refund; they were icy and disinterested in the customer's problem, even though it was created by themselves.
Lack of understanding is a Finnish trait, but they have outdone themselves in this case.
I will never go back to Finnish Lapland, and i advise against safartica to everyone.
