We had booked the aurora hunt in French for €100 (+€25 cancellation insurance), with the possibility of postponing the evening if the weather conditions were bad. On the first day, the sky was overcast and the hunt was postponed until the next day, as the sky was clearer. That evening, we spent a superb evening in a small group of 5. We made 2 stops to see the aurora (30 minutes by car), the first was a little difficult to access (frosted footbridge in marshes) and we we saw the first dawns. The second was near a small road, and we stopped there as the auroras exploded in the sky. We ate a small snack around a wood fire nearby (cakes, sausages, marshmallow and blueberry juice).
Our guide, Chris, was funny and cultured. He took good care of us. However, the temperatures quickly dropped and it was very cold (2-3°C), so you still need to wrap up well.
