Pyhä is a true Lappish ski resort surrounded by the natural beauty of fell landscapes in the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Here reindeers roam free and Northern lights dance in the sky. Already the ancient Lappish people recognized the beauty of Pyhä, and brought offerings to the gods on these impressive fells. Today well-maintained ski slopes, efficient ski lifts and great service guarantee fabulous skiing days at Pyhä. Ski area is totally renewed with a superfast 6 person chair lift, new Piste Palander (FIS) Slope and improved beginners’ area. Pyhä is easily reached from Rovaniemi. In just 90 minutes from the airport you are skiing surrounded by pure nature. At Pyhä the quietness and magnificent nature of the National Park are just at 300m from the accommodation.

Compact ski centre with excellent quality slopes. Pyhä vs. other Lapland ski: compact size, you cannot get lost. Suitable for families and friend groups. Pyhä is more genuine comparing to mainstream larger places like Levi which is much like in the alps. Pyhä vs. Alps: slopes stay all day in rock solid perfect condition, that is enormous benefit for all... More

My friend and I needed a snowboarding break, so we came here. Very glad we skipped Levi, as this was a very peaceful weekend. Very helpful staff in the ski shop, as well. Recommended!

We booked a room near Perherinne (200 meters) and spend a winter week with friends and family. We downhill skied all day, eat good food and took an evening sauna every day. We also stayed awake past midnight and saw some Northern Lights. Great experience!

Great slopes. In two days we had plenty of fun. There is great variety of slopes from easy (blue) to really challenging (black). No rush and no need to stand in queue for the lifts. Next time it would be nice to try some off piste..

Pyhä, short for Pyhätunturi (holy mountain or fell) is a fell in Finnish Lapland. Pyhä is nesting a modern ski resort with good selection of slopes ranging from family friendly to demanding and has plenty of opportunities for off-pist skiing as well. Pyhä is relatively quiet place compared to some other resorts, which is not a bad thing at all.... More

Pyhä is both for a winter and summer tourism attraction. During the winter you can ski. Summer is for hiking. We tried the new app of MobiRanger to find the best places in Pyhä, resting places and the geological attractions there. And we did not get lost due to the GPS-location of the app. MobiRanger is for any mobile, for... More

Pyha is very small with 1 supermarket and a couple of clothes/souvenir shops. The slopes were very quiet with no queues even though it was Finnish half term. Even though there were a small number of slopes some were quite challenging. We did think that the grading of the slopes was dubious. The blues could have been reds and so... More

4* Log Cabin Pyha with Inghams We stayed here at the end of January 2014 with Inghams travelling from Manchester. Our flight was approximately 3hrs 30mins and within 20 minutes of landing at Kittila we were on the small minibus to Pyha. Transfer to Pyha was approximately 2hrs, a very steady drive through the snow covered forests. On our arrival... More

Me, my husband and two boys (4½ years & 6 months) came to Pyhä by car from southern Finland. We stopped at Kalajoki Sani spa hotel for couple of nights and then drove to Pyhä. We stayed at Holy suites (rented through Best Western). The apartment was nice and well equipped (Wifi, TV, DVD-player, good kitchen stuff with kitchenette). The... More
