We offer dog sledding adventures of different lengths through beautiful natural landscapes. About 200 Alaskan Huskies and 20 Siberian Huskies are waiting for you on our farm. We will be heartily glad to meet you on our Arctic Husky Farm, here you will experience the best you could do in Lapland - and it is husky safari! Welcome!

Very emotional experience..Wonderful nature and beautiful Siberian huskies.
Dogs seems healthy and happy.

The dogs are well cared for and the people have an absolute passion for the dogs. We went on a husky ride and it was fantastic. The dogs are so fast! And the driving experience was great. My husband drove and we could have switched but you needed some strength to control the sleigh and for me I felt best in the sleigh. My daughter loved it too. Recommend to wear a balaclava as it can be cold at that speed!

i recently returned from a santa claus trip with canterbury travel and this was part of the experience and to say it was the best part is understating it, The husky sleigh trip was one of the best experiences of my life although i was cautious about taking control of the sleigh i am so pleased i did. I hope to go back just for the husky experience.

Really fun experience! The dogs all seem happy and well cared for. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The ground and forest are beautiful. The cabin with the fire and juice after the cold ride was a pleasure! Overall great experience - highly recommended! We enjoyed every minute of the 10km ride, then the walk through the kennel, then the stories and explanations in the cabin. Thank you!

It was summer, too hot for the dogs to work, but We loved our visit.

This winter adventure was truly thrilling and new to all of us. We had a one-hour husky ride followed by a one-hour farm visit.
Husky Ride (Alaskan & Siberian Huskies)
You will be welcomed by barking dogs excited to pull you at a speedy pace through breath-taking Lappish winter scenery. The dogs love running and pulling sledge, they were enthusiastic and friendly. The dogs will let you know if they need help, from you in pulling. My partner and I took turn in riding the sledge with the help of huskies. You will be given instructions on driving the sleigh prior to the ride.

You will be meeting with the main trainer for interesting information about dogs and
have hot local beverages. A stroll around the farm with the dogs is surely going to be thrilling.

10km was not long enough!!! This is a must, the dogs are happy, clean & eager to be part of a team with you. I had my 78yr mum in the sleigh & my husband my 80yr Dad & they both said what an amazing experience. The guides were encouraging, ensuring your safety, but allowing you to have space to feel like it was you, your team of wonderful huskies & the perfect snow filled landscape!

It was really great! We were lucky with a small group (4 with 2 guides). We started last Monday with helping to put the dogs before our sledges. When everything was done we left. We went through the forest and over open plains with our own sledge with 5 dogs, wonderful! It was quite cold with a little bit sun. We had a lunchstop with soup and hotdogs to warm up. In the dark we arrived at the cottage with sauna outside. After dinner we feed the dogs. There was a fireplace outside where we sit for a while. Today we wake up and Laura made breakfast. After this we cleaned up, prepared the sledges with dogs and go again. This time it snows a little. What a nice white world with your own dogs, unbelievable! Making a video and lots of photo’s of this trip. Thank you very much Laura and Arska (Arnoud). On a scale of 1 to 10 we give you an 11. We can recommend everybody to make this tour with Artic Husky Farm! Lovely!

We did the 10 km tour. Half way we stopped to change positions, so both were able to have control over the sleigh. The dogs are so strong and so nice. Would love to do our again. Also good explanation about the dogs.

we went with canterbury travels over xmas and had an amazing holiday and the highlight for us was the husky's. they are so friendly and lovely and so strong pulling you. we booked them again for our spare day on boxing day we enjoyed it so much.

Is it possible to drive to the farm on your own (if we have a rental car) and take a private tour just with your family? I was unsure if we had to take one of the organized tours from the tourist office. If yes, do we need to book ahead?
