We when as a family of 4 adult and 2 children age 5& 8, to the husky farm with Inghams Holidays while staying in Yllas. You can see all the dogs and the puppies, around 140 in total; some are outside the cages so you can smooth them. What an amazing experience you get to drive the huskies yourself, which is quite easy all you have to do is operate the brake as all the huskies want to do is pull as fast as the can, great fun. You can get warm berry drinks and ginger biscuits, plus make your own ginger bread figures. It’s a great fun day, would highly recommend for all the family.

We went on a day trip “in search of Santa” the whole day was brilliant. From start to finish.
We could never imagined it would have been so amazing.
They say once in a lifetime but we will definitely be returning.
The whole day ran so smoothly.

We were so grateful to have found All Huskies. We were staying nearby at the SnowVillage hotel and only had one day to take advantage of a husky sledding experience. Pauliina helped us out by fitting us into their schedule at a time that worked for us, and allowed us to drive there directly since it was closer than the shuttle pick up location. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and brought into the Kota to get warm and gear up. Unless you're in snowboarding/ski gear, they have you wear very warm jumpsuits over your clothes (which we were grateful for). We wore warm boots, jackets, etc. but having the jumpsuits definitely paid off. We had SO much fun on the safari! I believe ours was about 45 minutes long and it was a total blast because we were able to drive our own husky team! Dave took the first half driving while I sat and enjoyed the scenery and then we were able to switch half-way through. A very cool experience, versus someone driving the team for you. Very exhilarating! The owners and staff clearly love their dogs very much and are very friendly. Thanks, All Huskies!

Clearly these guys have dogs to make a living. Tourists pay a lot of money (120 euro per adult seat via an operator). You drive your own sledge for probably 45 minutes max. The rest of the time is spent on transport and q&a. It is a pretty cold experience. Owner is passionate About the dogs and they seem well looked after. No puppies in wintertime.

We met the tour guide in front of Levi Tourist Center and had to wait 15 minutes for the other four members of our group to arrive and never showed (no fault of All Huskies). However, we were then included in a larger tour group that had arrived earlier than us and received the welcome and safety brief before we arrived. We didn’t get any time with the dogs prior to the start of the run. Once on the sled, we had a slow team (maybe a combination of dogs and snow conditions) and the rest of our group had to continually stop and wait for us. At some points (hills), we had to push the sled and the dogs did little to nothing. Once finished, we were brought into a hut and given a nice warm drink and traditional sausage and allowed to warm up by the fire. All the staff were very friendly but we did feel a bit rushed as we were the last run of the night. It was definitely a unique experience. I hope our situation is an isolated event. Some factors that may have contributed: four people from our group not showing, tour group before our run went over time, we were the last run of the day. Overall, glad we experienced a husky tour in Lapland. We’d recommend a morning tour!

This was offered as part of a Monarch package holiday, and was, I think, the shortest ride available (~5km) at All Huskies. If we'd been going independently, we'd probably have taken the time for a longer "safari", because it was so much fun.

Our guide/host was very knowledgeable and explained how to control the sled and enjoy the ride safely. She led the train of about 6 sleds and all we had to do was control the speed, as our dogs simply followed the leader. Speed control was by standing on a brake bar and worked really well. On downhill stretches or bends I had to brake lightly to avoid getting too close to the sled in front, but it was great on the straight and level to let the dogs go as fast as they wanted. It was so quiet, just the swish of the runners and the light patter of the dogs' feet on the snow, whizzing past the trees and the snow-covered landscape. The temperature was about -6C; I wear glasses and didn't feel the need for additional eye protection, but snow goggles would be a good idea for lower temperatures or longer rides. We were of course wearing the ski suits, gloves & boots issued by Monarch at the start of the holiday.

The driver needs both hands on the sled at all times so either wear a body-mounted camera or leave the picture-taking to the passenger!

After the ride we interacted with the dogs and met some of the puppies, then had a Q&A session in a wooden teepee, with a warming coffee in a traditional-shaped cup. Our host was very friendly and informative, responding to all our questions and comments easily in English.

Controlling the sled required some alertness (although MUCH easier than a snowmobile!) but the experience was very low-stress, peaceful & enjoyable; we felt it brought us close to the reality of life in Lapland. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

If you are visiting Lapland, then this is an experience not to miss. The 10km safari was the highlight of our 5 days in Lapland and well worth the expense.

We did a 30km husky safari with All Huskies in beatiful winter weather in March 2016 and we absolutely loved it. We all had our own sleds with 4 dogs and everything went perfectly. The company staff was very friendly and our safari guide Pauliina was extremely professional and helpful. If you ever plan to visit Kittilä, please book a safari from All huskies - I highly recommend it!

A wonderful experience with All Huskies on a 10km husky-mushing excursion.
I was a bit nervous when we got there and the realisation set in that I was going to have to control these dogs, but I needn’t have been worried as it was a wonderful experience. We had such fun and the dogs are clearly well looked after and cared for.
We are a family of 2 adults and a 16 and a 6 year old, so finding experiences that are suitable for both kids is sometimes challenging, but the 16 year old got to ‘drive’ his own pack and I took the other adult and 6 year old and they also loved it. Would definitely recommend.
