We had 10km safari which was long considering the cold temperatures. There is not much adrenaline but it's a nice easy to appreciate the silence and the landscape.
At the end it was nice to learn more about the dogs and their habits.
Quite expensive but it seems prices are like that in this region.

We went on a day trip “in search of Santa” the whole day was brilliant. From start to finish.
We could never imagined it would have been so amazing.
They say once in a lifetime but we will definitely be returning.
The whole day ran so smoothly.

When first booking i had the priverlage with bioking with paulina. We had issues with the weather as there was no snow but paulina accomidated us and even opened on her day off in order to fit in with our hectic schedule.
On the day we were picked up by one of paulinas collegues (berta i think) she was lovely and very knowelgable about the dogs.
The trip itself was breath taking. After a safetly talk and instructions on how to drive the sleigh we felt at ease. We rode through the forest. One passenger and one driver we were able tp swap half way through. We did a 15k route which took us through dense forest and open fields.
After this once in a life time experience we were taken to a traditional finnish hut. With a very merry berry hot drink. Which was delicious
Would strongly recommend this trip. As the owners clearly love and look after the dogs

30km private tour with Pauliina and her best dogs. Adventure of a life time with the owner and my partner. Overcast day above the arctic circle tour though the hauntingly beautiful wetlands and Forrest of the seven fells area. Professional and attentive is an understatement. A highlight was the informative conversations afterwards and the meal of traditional salmon soup, buttered rye bread coffee and donut (I now have the recipe ;) )
Can not get back soon enough, Kittos Pauliina, Hannu and the puppies

We were so grateful to have found All Huskies. We were staying nearby at the SnowVillage hotel and only had one day to take advantage of a husky sledding experience. Pauliina helped us out by fitting us into their schedule at a time that worked for us, and allowed us to drive there directly since it was closer than the shuttle pick up location. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and brought into the Kota to get warm and gear up. Unless you're in snowboarding/ski gear, they have you wear very warm jumpsuits over your clothes (which we were grateful for). We wore warm boots, jackets, etc. but having the jumpsuits definitely paid off. We had SO much fun on the safari! I believe ours was about 45 minutes long and it was a total blast because we were able to drive our own husky team! Dave took the first half driving while I sat and enjoyed the scenery and then we were able to switch half-way through. A very cool experience, versus someone driving the team for you. Very exhilarating! The owners and staff clearly love their dogs very much and are very friendly. Thanks, All Huskies!

Friendly welcome and clear instructions about the ride.
Children (10 yrs) go together on the sleigh of the guide.
Bigger children (12+) go with the parents.
Dogs are already waiting and can’t hardly wait to begin!
Small group with 4 sleighs and 2 guides.
Loved every minute of the ride, so beautiful!

Clearly these guys have dogs to make a living. Tourists pay a lot of money (120 euro per adult seat via an operator). You drive your own sledge for probably 45 minutes max. The rest of the time is spent on transport and q&a. It is a pretty cold experience. Owner is passionate About the dogs and they seem well looked after. No puppies in wintertime.

We met the tour guide in front of Levi Tourist Center and had to wait 15 minutes for the other four members of our group to arrive and never showed (no fault of All Huskies). However, we were then included in a larger tour group that had arrived earlier than us and received the welcome and safety brief before we arrived. We didn’t get any time with the dogs prior to the start of the run. Once on the sled, we had a slow team (maybe a combination of dogs and snow conditions) and the rest of our group had to continually stop and wait for us. At some points (hills), we had to push the sled and the dogs did little to nothing. Once finished, we were brought into a hut and given a nice warm drink and traditional sausage and allowed to warm up by the fire. All the staff were very friendly but we did feel a bit rushed as we were the last run of the night. It was definitely a unique experience. I hope our situation is an isolated event. Some factors that may have contributed: four people from our group not showing, tour group before our run went over time, we were the last run of the day. Overall, glad we experienced a husky tour in Lapland. We’d recommend a morning tour!

Went for the 10km huskie sledge ride and enjoyed every second of it. The tour guides give you a quick lesson on how to drive the sledge (which sounds daunting but is actually rather simple) then off you go. They also provide you with extra clothing if needed which I would recommend. The dogs are happy and up for the trip, eager to go. After the sledge ride, we sat in a hut which had a fire and drank hot juice whilst talking about the Huskies. You can tell that the staff really enjoy what they do which is always nice to see... then after we had the chance to meet some of the dogs which was funny with lots of doggy kisses.

We booked a 20km sled trip with these guys directly. Unlike other husky operators in the area they responded to my enquiry very quickly and were super helpful.
The trip itself was great! Our team of dogs were super fast and pulled like a hotrod!
The leader/guide was a fun and informative girl who loved the dogs and they knew she was the boss!
Would have been nice to have had a reindeer skin or two to keep the passenger warm but that's no biggy.

Hi,
it's really nice to hear that you enjoy your Safari.
Normally we have big reindeer skin in the sled. But they might be drying up from the previous day. I'm sorry, that you had only a small sheep skins in the sled.
Best regards,
Pauliina

how much you paid??!

We paid 109 euro per person for the husky safari. The booking was made through Monarch, our package holiday provider, and included bus transfer from our hotel in Levi.
You may be able to get a different price if you enquire at the tourist information & booking office in Levi - we got a better price than Monarch was quoting for a reindeer trip that way.
Hope this helps
