Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing from start to finish, booked at the information centre in Levi. Small group so little mini bus picked us up and the some fusses with the dogs, quick tutorial and straight on the sleds. Beautiful ride through the trees and fields, absolutely stunning. Afterwards had some fusses and photos with the dogs even some kisses from them. Went into a little hut with a fire and hot berry juice. Asked some questions and back out for more fusses and kisses, this time from the youngest pups just 4 months old. Then a drive back with one of the staff just us and 2 other people. Was such a fabulous time. Would 1000% recommend. Thank you so much All Huskies was a fabulous way to end the holiday :)

What a great experience. Really enjoyed. We chose this place as it was a local run place that seemed like they really looked after their dogs. And Paulina confirmed this for us during our visit. She was very informative and provided lots of information about the dogs and their routines and their summer plans.
It was a thrilling time, being on the sled with the huskies. They provide you with overalls - we wore these over our sallopettes and snow jackets. They also gave us boots and gloves. I would definitely recommend a neck warmer/face covering for this activity as during the husky run, it does get very cold and my eyelashes froze over.
After the activity we were able to go and meet the puppies which were very excitable and cute.
Thank you for a lovely experience.

We booked through the Levi.fi site. The main selling point for us was that it was s family run business that actually mentioned the dogs welfare.
We were extremely happy with our choice and experience having chosen the 5km safari. The dogs were so friendly and we were allowed to spend quite some time petting them and listening to our guide explain their training and life throughout the year.
Highly recommendable!

We have been there today on a very short notice. Had a very nice contact with Paullina and she was so nice and we felt very welcoming. We learned a lot about her different dogs and could play and spend time with them in a large area where they could run around. The highlight have been the just 5 days old puppies. After our playtime with the dogs we had a nice and interesting chat in her cosy Kota, sitting around the fireplace with hot coffee, tea and a yummy selfmade cake. Thanks again, dear Paullina, we will definitely come back and will always recommend your place, it was worth every minute.

Went with Scandinavian travel and were picked up promptly with a comfortable transfer in the short journey to the husky farm. The guides and owners stayed there were approximately 70 mixed between Alaskan and Siberian Huskies. Instructions are clear and you are responsible for driving your own sleigh with two adults. There is opportunity to swap drivers. I can understand why small kids cannot drive as you have to control the breaks with your weight and lean left and right according to the bends. There are between 5-6 dogs who are eager to start the sleigh pull. There is plenty of opportunity for photos after the ride when the huskies are calmer after their exercise. The huskies are friendly and you can pet and have pictures with them. After the ride there is a hit with fire and warm berry juice for more questions about the dogs. Definitely recommend - worthwhile trip

Took the 20km Husky Safari with lunch in a Sami Tipi.
Johanna, our guide, and her 23 Huskies took us on a absolutely magical trip down the wilderness of Finland! Stopped for lunch with homemade soup (VERY good!) and flatbread prepared on a open fire. Followed by tea or hot juice and donuts and cinnamon buns. Afterwards we got plenty of time to cuddle with these beautiful and lovely dogs!
Tip; do wear there overalls ON TOP of your own thermal underwear and ski suit! And the leather mittens on top of yoour undergloves and ski gloves. Otherwise you will be very cold!

We booked our 20km husky sledge ride via the tourist information site for Levi. (One of their set packages). Having read other trip advisor reviews for other companies I was a bit concerned that this wouldn't be as good but it turned out to be excellent. The two guides race huskies professionally and their dogs are all in great shape. At our halfway stop there was plenty of opportunity to pet and enjoy the dogs - the highlight of our holiday. We were with our two children (aged 4 and 12). The guides are kind and friendly and are happy to answer all your questions. All in all a company we would thoroughly recommend. later in the week we booked a second shorter tour with another company (this one was fully booked) and it was a far less enjoyable experience (although the ride with the dogs itself is always magical).

We had 10km safari which was long considering the cold temperatures. There is not much adrenaline but it's a nice easy to appreciate the silence and the landscape.
At the end it was nice to learn more about the dogs and their habits.
Quite expensive but it seems prices are like that in this region.

This was a magical experience. We had booked with Safartica as a couple but my husband decided that due to a recent hip operation he would rather watch than participate (probably a wise decision). This left me without a 'partner' for the trip. Thus it was suggested I went in the sled of the lead 'musher' (Paulina). Words cannot describe the adrenaline rush as the 8 eager dogs took off at high speed through the forest! Paulina was training some of her new younger dogs in the team that day and talked me through how she was training them which was fascinating. As in the lead sled I did not have the opportunity to try to be the 'musher' but was so hooked on the experience that I've agreed to return and book a few days there learning how to 'mush' properly. As Paulina suggested April when the snow is still good but many more daylight hours it will probably be in 2017 now. I can't wait….

One of the safari's you should not miss in Lapland is a huskysafari.
All Huskies Oy has almost 80 dogs that are well taken care off and offer a long trip of about 20 km through the forests around Kittala. Before they start the dogs are really loud and anxious to go. The best thing is that you are able to ride the sled your own. At the stop in the tipi you get some warm berryjuice and a sausage. Great experience!

We paid 109 euro per person for the husky safari. The booking was made through Monarch, our package holiday provider, and included bus transfer from our hotel in Levi.
You may be able to get a different price if you enquire at the tourist information & booking office in Levi - we got a better price than Monarch was quoting for a reindeer trip that way.
Hope this helps
