We went on the 5 km express run with my family, it was an amazing experience. Good to see how they enjoy what they are doing and how well the dogs are treated.:)

Rami and his team were fantastic and very welcoming. It was evident that they cared about their huskies and they were natural hosts which made the whole experience amazing for all of us.
The weather on our trip was stunning but absolutely freezing (painfully so) meaning we did not wish for more than the 5km and were really glad to retreat to their hut and camp fires! In warmer weather a longer ride might be preferable but we had a great time.

We recently went on the10km Safari having seen the excellent reviews and booked well ahead. It was such a wonderful experience for us as a family of four. It really felt like a personal experience and you could see that Rami cared a lot about the well being of the huskies and the safety of those on the safari. The scenery was breathtaking and was one of the highlights of our Christmas in Lapland. Thank you also to Sari who dealt with our booking efficiently and was prompt to respond to any questions

This is an amazing place for trying the husky ride.
There are places for heating up if you're too cold.
Dogs look well treated and just wanna run so no animal abuse !
We reached it by bus (close to the main road).

We came to Lapland to see the northern lights and do a husky tour. Unfortunately we could not see any northern lights due to the weather, but the husky tour at Sami compensated us for everything. The 16 km tour was filled with a balanced program - the rides and the break with campfires and warm drinks was also perfect. we definitely want to come back again.
Thanks for that great Life experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Rami’s Huskies. From first contact via Facebook/email to the end of the experience. Sari was extremely helpful with booking and giving clear instructions with maps/directions and answering any questions that we had.
I would recommend booking early as it gets booked up quick, and we only had a few times to choose from.
We managed to do the 5km safari, which was about 1-1.5 hours long in total- plenty long enough for the kids and my toes before getting frozen.
The kids went in a sledge with the main tour guide driving, whilst my husband and i had a sledge. One driving, one enjoying the ride. We were able to swap over half way so we both got a turn driving.
At the end of the run and After lots of cuddles with the dogs who are all friendly I managed to drag my daughter away into a lovely little hut with fire place to warm up with grilled sausages and hot drinks, the staff were more then happy to answer any questions we had about the dogs/trip.
Such a fun experience! Would highly recommend :)

This is our favorite activity in Lapland. We weren’t lucky enough to see Northern Light this time but Rami’s husky ride made up for it. The huskies are so friendly and incredible strong. Staffs are very extremely kind and attentive. Totally a super enjoyable ride.

Thank you very much Rami for this unforgetable Husky Safari Tour. I wright you this review in the name of my wife Dino and best friends Inge and Dirk. They told me it was an unforgetable adventure! Unfortunally I couldn't be with them and was in bed due to a very bad ilness... I want to thank Rami because everything was prepayed and he was so kind to refund the amount I payed. He even brought the money to our lodge! What a service and kindness!!! Wow...
Many regards wishing you a fantastic season!

What a afternoon out. Can’t recommended this place highly enough. The location was beautiful, the dogs friendly, my 10 year daughter played with them for ages whilst waiting to take the sleds out. The staff were outstanding and informative. I’d brought what I thought were a good pair of boots, they thought otherwise and provided me (FOC) a much better pair. The sledding was incredible. We left at dusk (around 3pm!) so the light was magical. I was surprised but so pleased that you actually get to ‘drive’ your own sleds. A totally exhilarating and breathtaking experience.
Note: they give you plenty of advice about dressing for the cold. Read it, take it in and make sure you do, it was -17 when we went and you go pretty fast so feels much colder. We opted for the 5km route and that was plenty.
Once returned you sit by the fire to warm up, given lovely berry juice and an ‘ok’ sausage and just chatted to the staff. 5 stars from us!

Has any one taken a taxi from Levi to Rami’s? The dog sledding from Levi was not as good as Rami’s so would like to return but not sure how much it will be?

Best to book as early as possible as this is the only organisation allowed to run tours in the National Park and they are usually very booked up

Hi, I am coming to stay in Yllas on 24/12/17 with Thompson and am interested in the husky ride and visit to the snow hotel. Can you please advise prices and if we get collected from the hotel. There will be two adults and a 7 year old boy. We have a husky ride included in trip but I do not believe it will be the experience you offer. I am not sure of the itinery and when we are free as yet so how do I book. what different trips and prices do you offer. Any help and advise would be appreciated.

Hi. We are going to Yllas in December and would like to do the Husky Ride, sounds fantastic. Could I ask how much the ride costs please (we are a Family of 4) ? Are you able to book before you depart the UK? Many thanks

I see you've got your answer now but just to confirm our experience, we had a trip that included a visit to the Snow Village - cost €125 adults and €95 for 11 year old (don't know what age reduced price goes up to). Rami wanted a 50% deposit (in Euros by bank transfer) a couple of weeks before our holiday and the balance was paid at the end of the trip (he takes cards - not Amex). So, yes, you can (and should) book before leaving the UK. Price included entry and visit to Snow Village and a "soup, bread and drink" meal.

Just reading some excellent reviews of Rami's Huskies. We are travelling with Thomson (UK) in December & looking to book our excursions indepenently (probably 26/12/15 for husky trip). The Snow Village one sounds superb; how long is spent in the sleigh, is entry to the village included & is it suitable for kids of 7&9. Also, how much would a taxi be from Yllasvari (Saaga hotel) & can Rami's book this transporation for you?
Many thanks.
