Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went on a river boat trip to the Ravadas waterfalls. The waterfalls were very beautiful when we visited in mid-June, just after the snow had melted.

The boat trip provided nice views of the river and took about 30 minutes. When we arrived to the falls, we hiked some 500 meters along the falls while enjoying the beautiful vistas. Then we did a short walk to a nearby shelter for some reindeer soup, coffee and joik (traditional Sámi singing) by our very talented guide. After the boat ride back, there was an opportunity to interact and feed some reindeer.

I would highly recommend this approximately four hour long experience!

We've book a 7 hours trip that included 20 KM river boat + climbing a mountain, and then searching for GOLD together with one of the family members, Aslek.
It was undoubtedly the highlight of our visit in the area, and one of the highlights of the entire 3 weeks trip to Finland.
The kids (5,10,13) as well as the adults were fascinated by Aslek's stories, and we even found Gold! (imagine that!).
Had the BEST soup, cooked on the spot (well, after getting your hands frozen in the icy water looking for Gold, a fresh reindeer soup will be a dream come true :-))
Highly recommended!!!!!
Thank you Aslek for this amazing experience, which would be with us for life.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
