Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have joined the 4 hours Northern Night Safari on 10Dec. The guide was nice and professional and we successfully enjoy the amazing Northern night! We stayed two nights in Holiday Village Inari. The room was nice and the view was fantastic.

We would have liked a little more comfort being a bit over the hill. The owner was friendly and cooperative. We had hoped to see auroras but thick cloud got in the way. Not the owner's fault.

My husband and 2 college aged sons spent virtually the entire day with this team recently the morning was spent dogsledding and the evening was spent snowmobiling in the woods in hopes of seeing the Northern Lights. Throughout our adventures, the staff and guides were extremely accommodating and pleasant. We were picked up exactly on time at our hotel and transported to their store and outfitted with snowsuits, warm socks, headgear and helmets. Mittens too! So no need to pack any bulky items in your bags...they have it all. And either after or midway through your tour, coffee, tea or hot lingonberry juice and biscuits are provided to make sure you’re warm and sated. While the tours are pricey, the professionalism and safety provided was worth it.

We arrived in Kirkenes on a Hurtigruten ship. The driver arrived very promptly abd drove us to Ivalo airport. He was a friendly man who drove carefully. He also asjed who we were hiring the car from so he could phone to make sure the office was open. An excellent service. Thank you.

My niece and I stayed with Visit Inari after our AirBnb fell through. We were so grateful that they had a hotel room available with all our travel bookings already in place. The rooms were warm, clean and comfortable but we were not expecting the sauna or the amazing view across the Lake Inari. What a treat! The dining room and bar have a good range of snacks and meals. Breakfasts are an excellent, fortifying smorgasbord. The hotel rooms are not under the same roof at the dining room, so expect a short walk. If you are there in winter, add 10 minutes to each outing to put on all your outer layers, even if it is just to run across the road to the general store.
We couldn't travel with a full kit for the arctic winter and we don't have need for the gear at home so we hired overalls and snowboots from Visit Inari for our entire stay - at a reasonable price. We didn't look like fashion plates, we DID look like tourists, but we were warm and this made our stay and the activities more enjoyable. Just so you know, we wore three to four layers under the overalls - all thermal.
We went on the snowmobile adventure. I don't usually like motor 'sports' but with the gentle introduction for a novice, my inner motorhead was unleashed. Still, I was pleased for the slower pace unlike some other reviewers. It gave us time to take in the surroundings, and catch sightings of wildlife. The trip to Aijih/Ukonkivi was over the vast lake and we did some slower forest exploration on the way back after a welcome break around a fire. A magical day. Henri(?) our guide was generous, attentive and informative - but also gave us space to enjoy the ... space.
Our second trip was the snow-shoe walk with Matti(?). We started in the dark (about 9:30am) from a Narniaesque lamp post in the forest, along the Ivalo river. It was an informative and organic walk with discussion evolving as we came across different plants and animals. Matti was very patient with all my questions and it was interesting and saddening to learn about the impacts of climate change on this beautiful, seemingly untouched habitat.
Finally, we were blessed that the northern lights showed themselves to us while we were there. We could see them from our room, but seeing them from outside, with a full sky is a wonderful and humbling experience.
I highly recommend this company for the tours that we went on, the guides and the hotel accomodation. We liked it so much that we changed our travel plans to return to Inari later on in our trip. The only thing to improve would be to have some Sami guides too.
Anyway, I can't wait to get back again in the summertime.

We've been 2 times with them and both times were perfect. The accomodation was wonderful, essential and in a good position and the excursions were funny and well done!
Absolutely to try!

My husband and I did the Ice Fishing Excursion in February. What a brilliant experience. We got to ride snowmobiles (hubby rode out to ice fishing site and I rode back). Our guides were lovely and very helpful. Lunch was yummy, which included a very delicious fish soup. We didn't catch any fish but the whole experience was amazing. Huge tick off our bucket list!

We used the transfer service to travel from Kirkenes to Inari. The mini bus was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The service was without any issues and we arrived safely.
