RideNorth Inari Bad experience in Inari 823838218 RideNorth Inari Worst experience in Inari 823693975 Mrs Satu and her agency are the worst experience you can do in Inari. We were a group and we paid on 1th of jenuary 2022 ,150€/each to slide on a sleigh pulled by Huski for 15 minutes instead of 40 minutes like they explain in the briefing. She was orribile and rude and she wanted all the money as it was a normal trip. The poor dogs living in her farm are ill and tied with a chain around the neck. They had no water and not food enough.......so sad situation..... so horrible woman....

Great morning experiencing a husky safari. 6 dogs, 2 people and one sledge. Covered approx 20k in a hour. Harder than you think!!!! Had great fun; amazing to hear nothing except the crunch of the snow as the sledge slides along. Roman was a great guide and really looked after us all.

We had a great horseback ride with RideNorth through the winter wonderland of Inari. Our horses were beautiful, sweet Norwegian fjords who were calm and surefooted through the deep snow. We rode through the forested area right around Lake Inari and then also out onto the frozen lake itself for some photo ops. My companion and I both have some riding experience but I think this would be a great choice even for a beginner rider. One slight hazard was that passing through the forest, there sometimes wasn’t quite enough space for both horse and rider’s legs between trees and stumps, which could result in some scraping/bumping, but that just comes with the territory of riding through forests. RideNorth picked us up directly at our hotel, transported us to the horses, and provided helmets and made sure our winter gear would be enough for riding approx. 1 hour in the cold. Our guide, Tom, was friendly, welcoming, competent, and had lots of great information about the local wildlife, environment, and the horses. The horses seemed very well cared for. They also have huskies on their farm and we were lucky enough to meet some very young pups right after our ride before we were transported back to our hotel.

We did three activities with them. The Husky fun, horse riding and the snowshoeing with barbecue. Huskies: we paid 135 euros per adult and 89 per child, a price that was higher than what was advertised in the web (115/69) due to an update of the pricing in the new period according to Satu, the owner. the husky farm was close to Inari. Ada, Giacomo and the team of workers were great. They allowed us to participate in the preparation of the Huskies for the ride. The ride was surprisingly short and in a predefined track (5km aprox), which was a sour aspect. Then we visited the husky farm and we got a nice explanation about the farm. We complained due to the length of the Ride, and they offered us a second ride a couple days later, this time in the frozen lake for a full 35min. This was a much better experience. Horses. Tom was a great guide. He took very good care of the kids and explained everything about the horses. The ride on the frozen lake was also great. Snowshoeing and BBQ. We did a1.5km walk towards the mountain of the God of wind at 7pm. The guides were great, chatty and nice. We had the chance to see northern lights at the base of the mountain. On the down side, the mountain has a radio tower with light that makes Aurora hunting a challenge. Also, the BBQ is not a dinner, but rather a snack, something that we didn't expect. Satu answered kindly to our complaints. It is worth contacting RideNorth for activities in Inari, and we are sure they are improving aspects that required attention. A 10 to all the people working there!

In January 2019 my wife and me went to #Finland #Lapland . In #Inari, quite close to #Saariselka , we organized an #husky #sledding #tour with #RideNorth. We asked for the #Inari #husky #Adventure #tour (around 15 km, 175€ per person). Thanks to my #Suunto #Ambit2 I recorded the #GPS #track. When we went back to Italy, I downloaded the GPS track on my pc and I realized that the distance covered during the sledding tour was only 7,6 km. Unfortunately we did their so called "husky experience" (around 7-8 lm, 100€ per person) but we paid the "Inari husky Adventure". I would strongly recommend to choose another #sleddog #operator. If not, I would suggest to check very carefully the distance covered before paying.
