I had heard about Hetta Huskies through a friend, and upon visiting in summer I was taken on a tour of the farm by an enthusiastic and kind intern. The dogs were kept in good conditions and obviously well cared for, the interns there had close relationships with each dog and had an obvious passion for what they were doing.... More

Both times I've visited (once in the winter 5 years ago and last August), I've been amazed at the enthusiasm of the guides, the cleanliness of the farm, and of course the dogs themselves. Winter safaris are lots of fun to go on as are summer farm tours to just pet/cuddle the dogs. Definitely would recommend in any season!

When we arrived at the farm the team was just about to go for a walk with some of the dogs. So we could join them for a walk in the farm surrounding area. As we are more used to interact with smaller "house" dogs it was a lot of fun to see how much the dogs love to be... More

I really enjoyed a tour of the farm, which lasted about 40 minutes. The staff are really passionate about what they do and knowledgeable about the dogs and the farm is clean and dogs are very friendly and well looked after. Also at the moment they have puppies and we were able to have some time playing with them and... More

We visited just after mid-summer, so it was not traditional "husky weather", but there are plenty of activities available when there is no snow. We took a Farm Tour and had a great morning learning about how the dogs are cared for and meeting the staff and the dogs. Right from the beginning we got to interact with the dogs,... More

I visited Hetta in the polar region of Finland because in the Alps there was no real winter and because Hetta Huskies farm was the only one to offer me a 2 day Husky Safari starting on New Years day. My first contact with the farm was via phone and email with some very friendly and helpful volunteers there. I... More

We looked at many different husky safari tour options before choosing Hetta Huskies mainly for their values on lifetime care for the dogs. The hole experience was brilliant from staying in the Kota on the farm to feeding and looking after the dogs, the test ride on day one to the 4 day, 3 night safari into the arctic wilderness... It definitely was the highlight of our trip in Lapland. We were lucky to stay for two nights in the farm. We had the chance to sleep and wake up with the dogs, feed them, walk them, prepare them for the trips and of course go sledding with them. We did two trips of ca 35km, one with just the... More
