Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There's a permanent small garden exhibition for the garden lovers to get ideas from - or for visitors to enjoy and kids to play in. Lots of well-kept lawn for picnics and playing - and a small, nice playground.

On the other side of the lawn you can walk in the small woods and the lake-side.

There's also a cafe.

The Kenkävero vicarage is within walking distance.

I always take my guests here to show the beautiful little gardens. There is always food for thought gardening-wise. Plants for sale and a cafe in the summer. Beach accessible by a small bridge.

Mikkelipuisto is the exhibition of different gardens. It is free to visit there round the year. You also find restaurant Puutarharavintola Greeneri (read separate Tripadvisor reviews of it), a playground, an outdoor gym, campfire sites (use prohibited during wildfire warning) and old trams there.

Now they are going to build a floating sauna restaurant there, too. It will be opened at the end of the year 2024 or in 2025. There will be a rooftop terrace there in the summer and ice hole swimming in the winter.

There is a nice lakeside walking trail between Kenkävero and Mikkelipuisto. You find a bird watching tower on the trail. From Mikkelipuisto you can continue to Kaihun Kierros trail (read separate Tripadvisor reviews of it). In my opinion Mikkelipuisto is a nice rest stop between Kenkävero and Kaihun Kierros.

I have visited here many times because the place is excellent for children to run and play. There are plenty of room for running and plenty of interesting small details to explore both for children and adults. In summer times there is also a cafe but I recommend to check beforehand whether is it open or not. If you brought your own woods or carbon with you, you could barbeque your own sausages there.

This beautiful park has not yet got it's final form. If you are a friend of gardening, you find there beautiful plants, but also many ideas of outside decorations, pavements, patios etc. Good parking place. Cafeteria and garden shop, which are open only at summer season. Nearby is also a nice beach (Kaihu), you can walk there.
