Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Naisvuori Observation Tower (Naisvuoren näkötorni) is a great place to see the whole city center at one time. Buy extremely cheap tickets from the cafeteria and then you may climb up the stairs. There isn't any lift there. There are changing exhibitions on the second floor. This time there was a very interesting art exhibition there.
On the top floor you see very beautiful views: the city center, lakes and forests. The tower is 27 meters tall and it is situated 71 meters above the surface of Lake Saimaa. The tower was built in 1911.

This was pretty good, it only cost 2 euros to go up and at the top there was a good view over Mikkeli. There is a cafe at the bottom of the tower and it is set in a nice park area. The tower itself looks pretty ugly

Nice place to visit no matter if it´s raining or shining. You can climb the stairs up to the tower and see Mikkeli in a different point of view. There´s a cafe if you feel like some waffels for example. They say that those are "the waffels" but I´d say they are "just" waffels :D They are served with some ice cream and that´s nice on a sunny day :)

This tower survived during war also. It has been standing and watching over the city since 1912. Good place to visit and enjoy the view. Have a cup of coffee, ice cream and relax on summer day. Historical place which has been used for observing also earlier war events nearby. Under the tower in bed rock is also located the world strongest swimming pool. This i'm proud since it is made by my father 1971.

Centrally located the observation tower is an easy visit. There's a nice small park around it and you can climb to the top for a couple of euros for good views over Mikkeli. On top there's also quite a bit of information about the city, also in English.
Downstairs there's a small and nice, traditional café.

The Naisvuori Observation Tower gives you a lovely view to Mikkeli city center and surroundings. On a clear day you can see far. The fee is couple of euros. The climb is worth it.
There is a small cafe downstairs and a really nice garden.

This 27-meter-high tower is located on the top of the hill.
Paying the 2-euro fee you can climb the stairs to the viewing platform to have 360-degree views over Mikkeli.
There is a charming cafe at the foot of the tower.

153 stairs to top, shallow steps so east to climb, worth the view. Photos of the views label the buildings you are seeing.
