Driving from Malmö to Gothenburg, I had the opportunity to visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Very easy access from the highway by car (a few minutes) with frequent and clear road signs. I visited the site alone, not in the guided tours (11 am...More

Small attraction off the beat and track but well worth a visit if you have any interest in the history of long-wave radio and telegram transmission. Guided tours in English every now and then (we missed it but didn't need it as there is also...More

I happened to visit on transmission day - by chance. Signals reached USA, Europe and were also returned (albeit by email :)). The visit was very interesting and is worthwhile to understand how a radio signal is produced, and received (long wave, short wave). The...More

I usually think old things and technology is quite interesting. Study how technology has advanced over the years. The guide was good and knew her stuf but I found the place uninteresting and borring. If you like old tech and radio this is the place...More

Excellent preservation of a technology that worked perfectly, and was out of date prior to its implementation. Just to devise of the method of its use and manufacture was beyond most beginning graduate engineers of today. A perfect trip for the technologist. not for everyone.

This isn't an attraction that we'd have thought of visiting but we were staying with relatives who recommended it and we were delighted that they did. It opened up a whole new world of pre-mobile communication.

Worthwhile diversion on road from Gothenburg to Malmo. It's a few english miles off the main road but well worth the effort. Helpful staff, plenty of parking and the cafe's pretty good for the middle of nowhere. Reccomend!

We visited during hours the facility was closed, which was not the best scenario, but worked out. There is a trail around the first large antenna with some interpretive signs which will tell a good part of the story, and the experience of standing on...More

So fun to see this unesco world heritage live! Nice surroundings too, cows grazing etc. Works for the whole family.
