If you go around Zemun, don't forget to visit this place, next to the tower. Quiet, old, calm, full of trees. If you're not scared of cemeteries, just go there.

Right next to the Gardos tower is the Zemun cemetery and its worth a quiet and reflective walk amongst tombstones that are in some cases 200 years old.

The cemetery has graves of different religions . Hebrew letters next to Cyrillic and Latin writings. The grandparents' graves of Theodor Hertzl - One of the greatest Jewish leaders are to be seen in this cemetery. Very moving

It is near the tower of Zemun so we went to the yellow church. We passed through the graves and got in. Unfortunately there was a coffinn inside and so the story ends.
