This one hour ride going through the canal and returning in the open sea is quite Picturesque . I recommnd purchasing the full two day pass.and taking the hop on hop off boat ride or the bridged ride. This pass will save you money.

I did not get the impression that the canals of Stockholm were an attraction. Not special or worth a detour.

The canals in Stockholm add to the beauty of the city. We loved just walking alongside the canals as we ventured from one part of the city to the other.

In summer, get up early and take a walk along Norrmälarstrand, contine to the Old town and then walk the stretch until you reach Nybrokajen. There are several boattrips you can take to fully enjoy the canal's of Stockholm!

The canals are great to see and also to travel on around the city. the house boats are interesting, and lived in full time.

Actually, Stockholm is not Venice, so with visit great hopes makes you sad. But especially summer canals gives good landscape. Take a boat tour, picture and just watch is good.

A lovely trip on a boat through the waterways surrounding the city of Stockholm. The commentary comes by way of headphones and was interesting. The tour lasts about an hour.

The dominant feature of Stockholm is the tower of the City Hall. It is located on the most southern point of the island which is washed by waters running from Mälaren Lake to the Baltic Sea. The Citi Hall itself is the symbol of freedom...More

Whether you choose a boat tour on the water, or walk along the canals & across the bridges, the vista is as good as you will find most anywhere

Hello, we booked our tour on the stromma company website. We chose the Winter tour because it was not too long to stay outside on the dock. I think the most comprehensive would be the Archipelago tour with guide. Best... More

Hi there, where did you get this tour from exactly? And did you have to book it in advance or just get tickets from wherever you jumped on board?

You don't have to book in the normal season. it is enough just to go KIosk in front of Grand Hotel and buy ticket. This worked very well many times in my experience however if you go in the top season and cannot change the... More

We had a great relaxing time wandering the old town, visiting the museums like vasa and skanska and the ice bar. If you pick the right places it doesn't have to be as expensive as everyone has probably told you either.... :0)
