This is an interesting place to visit, if you are interested in finding out more about the Sami people. It is reasonably laid out and gives you a good insight into how this indigenous people eked out a living from a very hard environment. A good place to go. The reindeer are not too hungry, so trying to feed them... More

It is very, very small but it is still worth seeing since it has very much in the small area. The history of the northern people, "samer", is very interesting and my favorite part was very detailed models showing hunting grounds and how these people lived. And the entrance was very cheap, I remember that it was around 20 SEK... More

Get to know the sami people's culture. Museum's display gives you a very realistic feeling of how the sami people lived.

The exhibition is small, and even the most interested successfully completed on 30 minutes.Displayed a bit like a special assignment from high school.

The museum was very small but worth a short visit. When we arrived the staff had to go turn the light on in the exhibit. It was a great way to learn some of the history about the native culture of the area.

This museum consists of two and a half rooms of exhibition of sammi culture, clothes and a few photographs along with explanatory texts in English and Swedish. Whereas it is interesting to find out something about the Sammi culture it still comes short to being a real museum. Entrance fee is 20kr per person.

This is a small but informative museum that has authentic displays. Details are written in a range of languages and explain various aspects of Sami culture. Very low entry cost, well worth a short visit.

It's a little hard to find and quite small, but it gives you an insight into Saami history and culture.

This museum is exceptional and gives a detailed background of the history and folklore of Lapland. I was fascinated by the midnight sun in Kiruna.
