Traveling in time....
Oct 2018 • Couples
If you want to travel in time and get to live in a castle with the most friendly host and personnel, then yes, this is a place to go!

I would have liked to leave a review of this place, but despite visiting during opening hours the castle was closed. For this reason it gets a low review .

Italian Holiday Heaven
Jul 2017 • Couples
Absolute heaven, if staying in you can relax in the Castello with ceiling frescos en suite contemplating the amazing history. You will not be short of recommendations on things to see and do as you are advised and looked after by the two wonderfully generous and helpful hosts (Armando and Chiara). Perfect, quiet get away from it all holiday location.

If going out and about, a very gentle drive of 45 minutes on the SS107 from Caccurri reveals the superb beaches on either side of Crotone. In the opposite direction for 45 minutes and delightful forest walks await in Sila National Park (one highlight: Lake Cecita, there are many others).

Fabulous location, fantastic choice of things to do whether visiting noble or military castles (Castello di Santa Severina, for example) is your thing or just enjoying the wonderful cuisine both regional and local food. My particular favourite was "Pita" for breakfast.
