We stopped by mid week around 12.30pm and were treated to someone playing on the organ - a calming atmosphere complemented by a clean, crisp white, internal decoration.

The cost was about the same we elected to take her advice. The town is very nice small but lots to see. The church of Saint Mary is a... More

Beautiful castle church, you most likely will see it if on a tour, otherwise follow the maps to try to locate it, very worth while to see.

My cousin and I stumbled upon this by accident but it was one of the highlights of our trip. There is an absolutely beautiful courtyard well worth a quiet stroll around.

I have traveled to Europe a decent amount and like to see the churches as the US doesn't have much that is as old. This is a nice one. The inside of the church is cool. It's worth the stop. It's pretty close to Hamlet's castle.

It said to be the best preserved facility of its kind in Denmark and the finest example of a complete monastic complex surviving in Denmark, and one of the best in all of... More

So unlike anything from the same period in Southern Europe. The church and the cloisters and a wonderful rose garden. Look out for the frescoed ceilings.

I've only been inside once, for a short time, but it's a really beautiful and bright church with interesting history. It's also a great place to just sit down and relax from all the outside noise.

We timed our visit to Kronborg Castle to also attend a free organ recital at this church - Sunday, 3pm. I think we were the only out-of-towners there and enjoyed the organ as well as a cello solo while admiring the interior of this church.
