Pretty harbour and town

Wide selection of boats in the harbour, beautiful village of cobbled stone roads, yellow cottages, thatched grooves.

There is a small tourist information booth near the harbor as well as public toilets. At the harbor, we saw the Elizabeth fishing boat which was used to save the Jews during WWII by taking them to Sweden. Unfortunately there is no plaque or marker next to the boat (tourist information will point it out to you). There is a... More

Was recommended by our B&B host to see this little charming fishing village turned harbor. It says there is Dutch ancestry that is still very much in evidence today but honestly my husband and I didn't really see and feel it. Despite, it was a nice car ride from Copenhagen passing by airport and seafront. I wouldn't take public transport... More

It is said that Dragør has one of the best kept village environments in Denmark. Dragør has many well-preserved historical buildings. The old part of the town is a compact, picturesque maze of alleys with yellow-painted houses, red roofs, and cobblestone streets built in the traditional Danish style. Many of these buildings are hundreds of years old. The town was... More

A short drive from Copenhagen but in a world that used to be years ago. Grass roofed houses, narrow streets with colorful houses and of course the harbor and lots of fishing and pleasure boats. Popular area for the city folk.

Village of Dragor with its cottages and fishing town harbor. Beautiful flowers everywhere but most interesting one must look at the roofs of these houses, all thatched roofs. Many with window displays. The marina looks so attractive and the restaurant facing it served nice local food. Quiet village.

This is surprisingly close to the Copenhagen airport, and worth a visit combined with a flight or a trip to the Blue Planet Aquarium. It's a small village with beautiful old homes and a port, a few restaurants and cafes and a couple of ice cream shops. In walking distance from the harbor are some parks and beaches and a... More

Caught the public bus from Copenhagen(45 mins). Dragor was delightful in hot sunshine. Had a great fish meal on the marina. Everything was within walking distance. Pretty old village with thatched houses, fishing nets hung out to dry; beach with swimming pool facilities; WW2 defence relics; views of Oresund Bridge; pretty marina with sailing boats. We loved it!

We came here after having dropped off passengers at the airport. It's so close, just on the opposite side of the runway. The village is like you step into a different century though. Exceptionally cozy, little stores and restaurants and a very slow pace. Love it.
