My hero of children times

Yeah, nice statue of this gentleman, reminds me my children times. Very easily findable just next to City hall and in front of Tivoli gardens.

Located on an avenue bearing his name across from Tivoli Gardens (he is looking across the street at it). This is large statue of Hans in his finest with a cane for good measure. A photo op at best.

I like Hans Christian Andersen but there does not seem to be anything tourist worthy about this statue. A lot of people were climbing up to sit on his lap but other than that, it is just walk by and take a picture.

Took a while to find this as its next to the City Hall but at the side of it. Best way to get to it is to go to Tivoli and its across the road next to City Hall. Nice Statue, a few tourists taking photos so had to wait for my turn. Basically, a quick photo opportunity.

We were wandering around Copenhagen and stumbled upon this statue of H C Anderson, so we took the photo opportunity as you do while in Copenhagen. It is a nice statue located across from the Tivoli Gardens and next to the City Hall. It is a busy spot with people trying to get a photo of it. So, if you... More

Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile.
