This place is absolutely lovely! They have every flavor of candy you can imagine (including my favorite, elder flower) and they are more than happy to give you a sample.

It's really great that one can come in and see the candy being made here, nice activity during a visit to Copenhagen. The process could be somewhat more interactive though, with explanations given to the viewers. The candy that is made here is also rather simple, not too much candy with elaborate images inside.

This is a great candy store. I went there with my friends to check out how the candy is made. Make sure to check the hours before you go there. The place is so cute in the little backyard. The have a big variety of different flavor also licorice and candy with alcohol. Try to check them all. Perfect place... More

This little shop is nestled in the back of a courtyard. The employees were very patient and helpful- even translating every single hard candy for us into English! I have heard from a local that this is the candy shop that delivers to the Royal family.

This candy factory is a pretty cool visit if you are in Copenhagen, i think it was established in the 1800s. You wont know what flavor to buy as there is a huge range to choose from. I suggest you buy the small samples, taste one of each and then make an informed decision! You get one flavour choice per... More

There is a shop with the small factory that hand makes the candy down the street. Make sure to visit both, as they give lots of samples. Truly some of the best hard candy I've ever had in a multitude of flavors. It's fun to see how they form and shape the molten candy. Read the pamphlets they have to... More

This is an adorable old school candy making shop not too far from the markets. We were able to come on a food walking tour and sample a few types of candies as well as see the candy makers in action. The candy was really well made - beautifully crafted and flavored. They have hundreds of kinds and you can... More

Drawn in by wonderful reviews of lovely Danish sweet makers making sweets in front of us like it was sushi, this turned out to just be a sweet shop selling expensive sweets.. On the plus side they are delicious unlike anything I find normally at home. A bag from here would set you back about 80kr and would make a... More

Our food tour guide took us here. I enjoyed it but thought it a little odd for a food tour. I now realize how wrong I was. I bought a bag of mixed candies, and once I started eating it (savoring is more like it), I realized how good they are. I didn't think I was a fan of hard... More

Closed saturday afternoon, which seems a bit of an oversight in a tourist city. Shame. Maybe next time!!!! Quite hard to find as it is in a small side square off the main streets.
