Copenhagen Free Walking Tours invites you to join our 3 different Free Walking Tours through the heart of Copenhagen. We suggest starting with our Grand Tour of Copenhagen, taking in the famous city landmarks like Christiansborg Palace, Nyhavn and Amalienborg Palace while we discuss history, culture, people, food and so much more on an easy 3 hour walk through the city center of Copenhagen. This tour starts everyday at 10 am, 11am and 3pm* from the steps of the Town Hall (Radhuspladsen). Just keep your eyes peeled for the smiliest guides in town, wearing green name badges and holding bright neon green umbrellas. You can't miss us!

Join us in Spanish at 11am or 3pm everyday at the steps of the Town Hall!

We also have two alternative tours - the Christianshavn Tour, and the Classical Tour. Both tours run for 90 minutes and see distinct neighbourhoods in Copenhagen that we do not cover on the Grand Tour.

We also work closely with Pub Crawl Copenhagen! Come and drink with us!

Please check out our website for seasonal start times, and locations. Booking in advance is not required but very much appreciated.

We have done many free walking tours over our many travels. This one was again, excellent. It provided a good introduction to Copenhagen and its brief history. The tour was informative and very popular (meaning it must be good, right?!?). I will always recommend a free tour.

Luis was the best tour guide that anyone can ever have! We had so much fun. I wish we spent more time with him around the city.

Wanting to show a visitor from the US Copenhagen and at the same time perhaps learn more about the city we have lived in for decades we joined the classical walking tour and enjoyed 3 hours of informative and entertaining walk in the streets of Copenhagen. Guide Rikke managed to get around the history of The city, the history of... More

I went on the Grand Tour of Copenhagen with Danish Daniel and he was excellent. Answered all my questions about Denmark and was ready to chat with the group. He was very entertaining and by the end of the 3 hours, I had a better knowledge about Danish history.

The tour is really good, nice way to see the city, but it is a bit to long, 3h, I think it can use short time, as Copenhagen is relatively small city, and there is loads of stuff to do, our guide was really attentive, defenetly will recommend

we did the walking tour on a very cold but also beautiful morning in Copenhagen. It was a really good tour which covered all the major sights of Copenhagen. Magnus, our guide, made it really fun and enjoyable! he is really knowledgeable and showed us some great spots to go back to after the tour. Highly recommended for anyone visiting... More

We did two tours,- Classical and Christianshavn with Daniel. Both tours lasted for about 1.5 that is a good time, having in mind the windy weather of Copenhagen. I was impressed by a hilarity and sense of humor of our guide. I still give the best evaluation, cause I really had a great time, even if the groups for me... More

The tour was a lot of fun! Our guide, Martin, managed to give us a good idea of the history of Copenhagen in only a couple of hours. He was clearly enjoying himself, which made for a really fun, relaxed tour. I definitely recommend this tour as a starting point to exploring Copenhagen! Although it's free, the guides will ask...
