Ove the look of this spire from the outside. Enjoyed the climb although at times a bit tight. View from the top (all 92 meters) spectacular. Amazing to hear the bells when you are climbing inside and an experience to climb the rest of the...More

This has to be one of the oddest churches I have come across. Do not walk up the tower if you dislike heights or suffer from claustrophobia! It is a very steep walk up the top and some very narrow steps. Once up the top...More

We came to the church mainly to climb the tower. There had been some fairly heavy rain just before we arrived. As a result, the tower was closed with a sign saying it is closed with rain, snow etc for safety reasons. The church is...More

Great place to visit but since the upper outer spiral walk is outside, it gets wet and slippery. Go early to try to avoid the crowds, because the outer walkway near the top can only fit a single person at a time. Incredible view and...More

I love this church because it is different. Living in Europe you get burnt out on the amount of Cathedrals where all of them start to look the same. Just being different from the outside made it a nice visit for me.

Lots of stairs. Great views. Not a long line. It is not very scared the stairs are guarded. It costs 40 krona for adults.

Climb up through the narrow stairs bell tower of this pretty church to the unique feature - the external spiral stair to the very top of the spire. Fantastic views all round, if a bit vertiginous.

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military
