What with all the shops in the middle, it's a little hard to find your way around. Love the Dunkin Donuts though, don't see many of those in Europe. Train station has a good self-service luggage storage area, but a little hard to find. Toilets are clean, but not free, but in return are very clean, and the machines accept... More

Great signage, clean, helpful personnel. Easy to get around, great flow for foot traffic boarding and disembarking! ☺

It functions very well as a train station, but it isn't really a destination in and of it self. Not really worth a visit unless you want to catch the train.

Having to endure the British train stations - this was a welcome surprise. Very clean - signage in both Danish and English. Fares were reasonable too. Just make sure you get a direct ticket not a zonal one. The exterior of the building is stunning.

Trip to Malmo worth doing and not too costly and you cross 'The Bridge'. The trains were clean and comfortable and on time!

This station is neatly laid out and clearly defined for all train routes. This is a great location truly as central as its name implies. Right by Tivoli and the major city hotels. Journey's to and from the airport are quick and easy taking about 20mins.

Used Central many times during my stay in Copenhagen. It's also a great place to grab breakfast and it has all the usual suspects there like Macdonalds and 7/11. All trains run through here, other than the two metro lines.

Comparing Kobenhavn central station with other Europeen stations, I saw that there offered very little establishments to eat and itskinds of meal are very similar

Just make your way to the central station and you will find almost anything you want. Shops, eateries, pharmacy, etc. And of course you can walk to almost anywhere from here. Quick, tidy, rarely crowded, clean and timely trains to the airport with regular links to the Metro (if you need to go on the Metro)

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
