Nice to visit when it's summer

Summer time is the best time to visit this area. There's a flea market in the square. There's a big (quite expensive) shopping center nearby

Just cruising around Copenhagen checking the sights. Went through square. Nice architecture and great places to get some food. Right next to the canals and other sights.

This is one of the finest squares in Europe but you won't see much of it at the moment as they're building a new metro station in/under it which is not due for completion until 2019 (I think - might be earlier). Probably best to hold off till then unless you're really interested in civil engineering.

Although at the moment you cannot see much of the place due to the ongoing Metro construction, it is still the most impressive Square with its many fine buildings: Charlottenborg: the Royal art academy, Thott's mansion: now the French Embassy, Hotel d'Angleterre and Magasin.the Royal Theatre and Erichsen's Palæ: head quarters of Danske Bank

While it is a great square to visit it is mainly for its historical value that holds any interest and of course the architecture of the buildings that surround the square. Unfortunately with the construction occurring when we visited it was difficult to appreciate it to its fullest.

In construction the whole time of the visit, but they have made it very interesting with art elements and a spinning wheel. Good place to relax and meet people!

This construction site bears no resemblance to the park that you will want to visit when work is complete. Its awkward to walk around and the "antiques" are odds and ends of garage sale rejects. Take the canal boat tour twice instead.

In the center of copenhagen - Kongens Nytorv - (the Kings new square) you find a fine market for antiques and design. Lots of vintage Royal copenhagen porcelain, figurines and vases, Danish designer glass among many other tings. All shops Shell High quality things at very resonanser prices. This market os highly rekommemded to pay a visit when you are... More

Unfortunately, one of the city’s most notable and liveliest squares in today a huge construction site. There is not much to see, but you can enjoy the nice view toward Nyhavn or Stroeget.

Don`t waste your time going there as all you will see at the moment is a huge construction site (the new metro line is scheduled for completion in 2018!)
