It was a drizzly day so we were just out exploring and happened onto the art exhibit in the cisterne below the park-so glad we were able to see it-check to see if anything is showing there currently-very interesting!

Huge park where locals have picnics. Easy to go by bus and metro. Not that much to see, but nice place to walk through.

This is a great place to visit on the way to or back from Elsinore Castle, and free to wander round the castle outer area and gardens if you don't want to do the museum inside.

This is one of the largest public parks in the city, perfect for a picnic or a stroll along the pathways.

The official gardens are quite extensive, with a variety of areas to enjoy. Take food with you so you can have a picnic on the huge lawn of the palace.

Went there twice, first time for a walk, fully relaxing, watching the green and the birds; second time on a sunny Sunday (yes in Copenhagen!), with friends, food and drinks. Had a great time both times!

This is a nice garden for a stroll on the way to something else. It is not really a destination In itself but is near lots of other sites.

Someone compares these Gardens to Alice in Wonderland, and it is true. We amble through green and more green. We stroll by a castle, we stop to watch a swan preen, an enormous cat attach itself to a park table, veer towards the zoo where...More

We were there in as sunny and warm day. We did what the locals did: enjoy the place, had a packet lunch and relax.

Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find
Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in
itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here
there are several fine theaters, from the experimental
to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which
specializes in transcribing the great London and New
York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several
years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find
