Nice bookstore and cafe, but there is only a single exhibition so you will go through it in less than an hour. Still, if you like architecture it's worth a visit.

On the first floor is a small cafe with four tables in a glass box overlooking the city. Food is good, view is awesome if you can get in the glass box.
Beautifully located and a café with a lovely view over the canal. Very good book shop. But there is not much too see there. No permanent exhibition. When we visited there was an exhibition about a Japanese architect. Interesting yes, but we were hoping for...More
I visited the Danish Architecture Centre to check out the Waste exhibition currently on offer. The centre is located in a wonderfully renovated warehouse on the harbour and on the island of Christianshavn. It offers a lovely cafe, restaurant, meeting rooms and a rotating exhibition...More

Had a lovely evening here, with a fantastic exhibition on Danish Urban Design. The staff were incredibly pleasant, with a lovely (although pricey) giftstore. Well worth the price of admission, for 40kr student rate it's a bargain!
Hi Paddy F Thank you for your kind review! We are really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit at DAC and found our staff helpful. We hope to see you again in the future :-) Best regards Elisabeth Topsøe Head of Exhibition
Please don't waste your money here. In fact, you could wander through and see what we saw without paying any money, as there is a café on an upper floor. I asked for a refund, but it was refused.More

This place was a bit of a bust. The exhibits they had were well done, but there was so little there. I was surprised they charged to get in for what it was. The cafe overlooking the canal is lovely.More

This was one of the highlights of a recent trip to Copenhagen. What a place. Loved the exhibitions at the time (pictures of the world and smart cities). It is just the kind of experience that leaves you bursting with ideas and excitement. And it...More

Very interesting exhibitions, but perhaps not for everybody. We were here during a school trip with architecture as primary subject.
Hi Lovisa We are glad to hear that you found our exhibition interesting. We hope you had a good school trip and saw some interesting Danish architecture :-) Best regards Elisabeth Topsøe Head of Exhibition
A caveat to begin with: I write this as someone who works in the built environment so this sort of museum would naturally have a lot of appeal. For its size, it manages to pack a lot in. There's a small, one-room exhibition space upstairs...More
