We made it a point to visit this church on our recent trip to Copenhagen. The church was beautiful, very well kept. It was not overwhelming with detail and ornamentation. This allowed you to focus on the Christus statue and the 12 apostle sculptures. I'm very glad we went.

... to hear superb soul-lifting ambient electronic sounds from DreamHub while chilling out on comfy cushions drinking tea and taking in the soothing light show on the ceiling. What an imaginative way to get the punters into Church!

Ask the citizens for the agenda and do not miss the electronic music sesions. We were there on Friday evening, at 20 h. It is free and relaxing. And strange and cool.

The tower of Our Saviour is an iconic sight for any photographer, so on our way to Christiania, we dropped by for prayer and a view. Thanks to numerous fires and wars, there is little of ancient times that is visible in Copenhagen, and we found ourselves in the strange position of realising our own home and most of our... More

This church is located in the center of Copenhagen. You can enter anytime, as always open. Look for special arrangements with light show and chill on the floor.

Just visit and enjoy the interior of this beautiful building. The Crown Prince was married there! Right next to the University, this church is full of light and history. Just a quick stop will do it.

This church it is different than any other I have visited before. It is light and luminous, simple and humble. You feel very welcome as the image of the Savour has open arms for you.

This is a beautiful church inside. Because it is in the middle of the city it does not look brilliant outside but inside it is different. Everything is so well cared for (like more things in Denmark) and the decor and artifacts are lovely. It was sometimes difficult to get a photo due to the numbers of Asian tourists taking... More

Minimalism is good, but not great in a church. There are some nice sculptures but other than that the artwork is limited and the architecture is mostly uninspiring. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it but pop in if you're passing by as it's free.

This was a really so unlike most city centre cathedrals with its very restrained use of decorations - really very beautiful and calming. Large statues of the apostles line either side with the dominant and very beautiful Christus statue in the centre. Also a good place to go and warm up!
