This nice part of downtown is packed with locals in the summer, with a public pool and large grassy area makes it a perfect picnic spot.

We strolled along Islands Brygge (Bryggen, for short) on an early, wonderful, calm, mild, sunny tranquil Saturday morning. The water in the harbor was dead calm but for a few, small bow waves from the passing boats. We passed Bryggens Kajak Polo briefly watching a...More

If you want to see some very diverse and stylish new buildings on the waterfront. Stay on the water taxi or ferry and go south to islands Brugge . Two silos turned into apartments. Urban planning at its best.

Nothing too spectacular, but there is a nice boardwalk and some green space to talk a walk along the water or hang out on. There was also a small market set up on Sunday morning.

It's a nice place. The architecture is interesting and there is a nice area for walking. It's not a place to go out of your way to go to but it's nice.

Very pleasant area with large park, restaurants and an outside flea market. The harbor water is so clean that it has a section for swimming and water sports.

bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the
city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of
the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in
Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage
houses and production facilities. The western part is
