This was a jewel of a visit - we had no idea we would be looking at Islamic art during our trip to Copenhagen....and we did probably because it was free entry to be honest! What a fabulous and very different collection, it was quite...More

Located in a lovely building and beautifully displayed the David Collection is amazing. So much art from Medaevial times and earlier wonderful to see. The lower parts displaying Danish art and furniture are not so interesting although information sheets are available.

I was amazed how many exhibits this museum has not just the Islamic section. What I found very interesting was the history of Islamic empires over the centuries - not that different to what happened in Europe in those days - one dynasty aiming to...More

My wife and I took a 24-hour trip to Copenhagen for our small celebration (and no, we didn't use the City Card because it was too expensive and not worth it). We visited this place, and it was really great! We should've spent more hours...More

Stupidly arrived at the David Collection at 4pm, wish we had gone hours earlier to give us more time to be there! The collection is incredibly interesting. It was free for us, which is amazing in Copenhagen, and you get a tablet which you can...More

city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and

A taxi would be the best, as the bus stops are at either end of street, where the David Collection is placed - so you would have to walk a bit. A good idea is to be able to show the taxi driver, where the museum is, as it is... More
