The walk along the lakes is one of my favorites in Copenhagen. If you take it all the way through - eg. starting at the Planetarium you'll come by the Fashionable Frederiksberg at first, then when you cross the big road cross you're entering Noerrebro which is the part with the most ethnic mixed environment. Walking on you're still at... More

This is in the heart Of Copenhagen. A great area to enjoy the sun, have a walk, go jogging, people watching or bring some wine/beer and have a pause from a busy day

this is a really nice part of the city, it was beautiful seeing the lakes glistening under the shining sun! the houses lining both sides of the lakes are lovely to look at, and it's great for people watching. we took our 2 year old to go on a pedalo and she absolutely loved being the captain of her own... A great place to sit or lie down along the lake taking in the sight of swans, ducks & other birds. Very relaxing and a quiet refuge away from the cards & bikes! We sat and watched the world go by for about an hour. Just lovely. The neighborhood is magnificent with beautiful buildings.

Take a walk around the lake or around all three lakes. Enjoy the swans and the other birds living there life in the middle of the city.

Nice artificial 5 small lakes (it's one but because of the bridges it seems like it's 5) which are located just before entering the city centre (coming from North Copenhagen). Great place for strolling and wandering around with many cool restaurants and bars nearby. Good place to walk around while in Copenhagen especially on a nice warm day.

If you are walking from the central station area to the national gallery or rosenborg castle there is a footpath alongside the chain of lakes to the west of the city . There are houses to one side but its a pleasant walk away from the traffic and an easy way to navigate

Coming from the "Country of the Thousends Lakes" I wouldn't like to call Peblinge a lake, but it's rather five small ponds attched to eatchother... However, that doesn't mean that Peblinge would be less of an attraction. On the contrary, Peblinge is a real oasis in Copenhagen; citizens stroll around the ponds and enjoy the openess of the area. There... More

Our hotel was very close to this lake. We used to stroll around the lake in evenings. You can see a lot of locals jogging, sitting & relaxing along the sides of the lake. Its a nice place in the middle of the city to unwind yourself. Dont expect any boats or any hustle bustle here, its just a quiet... More
