The lakes (Søerne) in Copenhagen are great for walking, biking and running (6 km) and have a central location. There are cafés around for a coffee break or just have a rest on one of the benches along the route.

The walk along the lakes is one of my favorites in Copenhagen. If you take it all the way through - eg. starting at the Planetarium you'll come by the Fashionable Frederiksberg at first, then when you cross the big road cross you're entering Noerrebro...More

This is in the heart Of Copenhagen. A great area to enjoy the sun, have a walk, go jogging, people watching or bring some wine/beer and have a pause from a busy day

A great place to sit or lie down along the lake taking in the sight of swans, ducks & other birds. Very relaxing and a quiet refuge away from the cards & bikes! We sat and watched the world go by for about an hour....More

Take a walk around the lake or around all three lakes. Enjoy the swans and the other birds living there life in the middle of the city.

Nice artificial 5 small lakes (it's one but because of the bridges it seems like it's 5) which are located just before entering the city centre (coming from North Copenhagen). Great place for strolling and wandering around with many cool restaurants and bars nearby. Good...More

If you are walking from the central station area to the national gallery or rosenborg castle there is a footpath alongside the chain of lakes to the west of the city . There are houses to one side but its a pleasant walk away from...More
