Known as Marmokirken, Frederiks Kirke or The Marble Church this Protestant place of worship is worth a visit just to gaze upon the enormous rotunda with rich textures and gilded artifacts. Easily accessible from the city and free, those who plan ahead can also arrange...More

The inside - with every visitor silent - is, even for an atheist, just awe inspiring. That dome and the paintings of the apostles - wow! We were lucky enough to be there when an organist was playing some Bach. I could have spent hours...More

Rich decor for a protestant church and also a good opportunity to rest in a calm atmosphere. There is no admission.

This church is incredibly beautiful so make sure to give it a look! It's very close to other attractions so easily within walking distance. Great to have a seat inside for a bit, but not much else to tour inside. Lovely church!

This was one of our stops on a cycling tour of the city. Unfortunately we did not go inside but it's beautiful to admire from the outside. If we ever return we'll add it to our list.

This is beautiful Church to visit, and agree with the other review that it was a great neighbourhood to be in as the Palace, and Palace gardens and other places were all in close proximity.

A house of prayer, of peace, of calm. Sit, look, watch, breathe, reflect- recuperate, regenerate, find peace.

The church is beautiful in side. It was nice to sit silently and take in the architecture and think about the history inside this church.

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well

city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
venues of the inner city and its surrounding
