It is one of those spots you need to visit, as its so iconic. However the queues aren't fun. And other than rides (and a show every few hours) its just looking around at some lovely gardens and building.

Whilst we are not fun fair people this famous historic amusement park right in the centre of town was still worth a visit. We used the free gardens admission on our Copenhagen card (rides and events are all charged for in addition to the basic...More

What is the fuss with this amusement park? I really don’t understand. I went in with my Copenhagen Card, which is good because it was free. Took a look for 5 minutes and went out. Not worth it.

The main purpose of my visit to Tivoly was a company meal at Groftet. But our group decided that after the gala meal we must see the illuminations. It starts fairly late, but it is a definite must. Perfect way to end the evening.

Went here twice during our five days in Copenhagen. Took a few rides, then had dinner. Lots of people in the park just for dinner. Might be some non ride entrance pass. Great idea if that is the case. We enjoyed both visits and would...More

Walt Disney was inspired, in part, by Tivoli when he conceived Disneyland. Like the old Disneyland, there is admission to the park, and then you can either buy tickets for rides or wrist bands. There are restaurants, food stands, candy stores, midway games, a food...More

Tivoli offers beautiful gardens, rides, entertainment and plenty of food. It is very compact . Since my last visit more restaurants and entertainment venues were added which took away from some of the beauty of the gardens.

This was on our to do list and we weren’t disappointed. In fact we spent most of the day here. Located opposite the central train station it’s very easy to get to. Yes you have to pay an entrance fee but it is well worth...More

When the sun starts to go down and you are looking for something to do Tivoli Gardens is a nice place to stroll through and grab a bite to eat in the food hall. We had free admission and weren't really interested in the rides,...More

If the weather is good and you are with the family and kids then def worth a visit. If only adults you can take the hop on hop off and see everything else. However if you have time on hand it’s worth it.
