A well-designed, thought-provoking museum with interactive displays, in a beautiful building with a café serving home-made cakes. When I visited it had one of the Aarhus 2017 exhibitions, 'Venus envy' (collage).

I love how the Danes make a special effort in honoring the other half of the gender. And actually by doing this also recognizing all the spectrum of sexuality acknowledged in the 21st century. So progressive, and I think each country should have a museum...More

The lady in the reception was very good in informing us how the museum was organised and the closing time for the museum, but the museum itself was not that impressive. The museum is also very small.

I had a delicious lunch with a freind in the museum cafe, and then we went round the museum, wanting particularly to see the exhibition of wedding dresses. The meal was very good and the exhibition excellent.

This interesting museum situated in the old townhall next to the cathedral tells different important aspects of womens history. At our visit a.o. the story of womens right to vote, in Denmark since 1915.

This museum is interesting and does have some really interesting history of the women's movement, but there were some really scary bits. It's not deliberate by I found the exhibitions of bagged children's clothes, the dystopic children's bedroom, the incidental taxidermy and the wax works/mannequins...More
