Gorgeous beach of black lava and crystal blue waters. There are two beaches, so make sure you walk over the hill to get to the second which is less populated. Black rock is more beautiful than comfortable, but it would be wrong to take a...More

The sea is one of the cleanest and clearest waters ever seen. Dark blue water, black rocks, one must swim in this sea once. Listen to the sound of waves rolling the pebbles.

a magnificent volcanic beach with crystal clear waters and wild breathtaking scenery as a result of the volcanic activity of the distant past in the area.

All rocks, not organised. Not for families with little kids. Parking is a challenge too. If you pass you can stop to see but nothing special.

Cold waters but I really liked the beach, it's different than the rest of the beaches in Chios and definitely better than similar beaches in Santorini

I think this coast is the most interesting place that can be visited in the island. You can get your drink from a shop near by and hang out on the stones. Nice athmosphere.

It's covered with black pebble stones. Very interesting. The water is clear and clean although it is quite dark. There is a small bar. Parking can be challenging in busy hours. You may need some sea shoes.
