A very interesting and ancient church in the heart of Thessaloniki. A shame that parts of the inside are in such disrepair, the video that shows you the detail of the mosaics on the ceiling is great. The mosaic work is incredible and very intricate.

This is an imposing building situated in the city. It does not take long to walk around. One needs to use their imagination to envisage the beauty of the place. It has a lovely little garden.

A place where one can admire the architecture of the ages and also feel the glamour of a tall building that was used as church long time ago. It is restored and offers a great feeling of magnitude.

This is a beautiful, peaceful space. Although the area is almost empty, the frescoes, especially the ceilings, are beautiful and the short video of the history interesting and informative.

This is another interesting piece in Thessaloniki and seeing how this church changed over the years from various religions to like pagan religion to Christian religion over the many cultures that took it over.
