Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Impressive square, worth a visit as there’s always something happening, locals congregating and promenading.
Grab a coffee and people watch!

Number one square in Thessaloniki. This is the meeting point in Thessaloniki. Most of the tourists and locals start their walks from Aristotelous Square for White tower area, or for ladadika area or just visiting area to enjoy the nice café/bars that are really good.

We had the opportunity to enjoy Aristotelous Square when it was illuminated by holiday lights. It was fun to walk through.

This square was outside of my hotel, so it was very convenient to walk to. They had a couple of good restaurants, restaurant 22, and Plaisir were the best.

Definitely worth stopping here. The statue of Alexander the Great is amazing.
There is a definite buzz about the place and fun to be there.

A little bit dull must-see place. Loys of expensive shops and caffees. The more intetresting part of city is just west of it.

Beautiful architecture. Buildings are gorgeous and plenty to eat and see in the area. It’s a great area. Walk by the water on the boardwalk. Great scenery.

After a tour of the city they left us off in the square and it was nice enough. Not too much to do except eat at one of the many restaurants or shop. We found an amazing bakery there, made me feel like a kid in a candy store. Plus they were reasonable in price. A little further down you can stroll along the water promenade which was very pretty.

Yeah it’s like NYC Times Square but it’s really is a big bustling exciting central part of the waterfront extending back multiple blocks. It’s the hub is the city and most people will pass through or across it multiple times during a stay.

Buzzy square with numerous cafes and restaurants to enjoy the view! The only square in the world that smells of cake and pastry! An outstanding view on the terrace on top of Electra Palace hotel, and do not miss the bakery on the square, it draws you in with the smell.
