A very nice compact market - selling fish , meat , clothing . Its a nice shady spot to escape the sun and browse for a bit

Busy market visited my tourists and locals. Can buy almost anything here, I would say. Lots of bargains to be had, got a spinach pie for lunch for 1euro. Definitely worth a browse through the market filled narrow streets, to awaken your senses.

It's a cool marketplace, one of the traditional markets of the city, you can shop your veggies, fruit, meat, grab a bite to eat, some really nice places there, and if by any chance you happen to be there on New Years ' eve, grab...More

I enjoyed walking around..It was little too crowded but what market isnt?! Prices are good and you can always make a deal about it :P . We really had great time here, and found everything we needed and more than that :)

Interesting market, you can find almost everything. It's very stinky, as there are primarily stands with food, like fresh fish, meat and etc. Also is very dirty. I think it's closed on Sundays.

We walked around the market and found fun things to buy, souvenirs and trinkets and food, and met some nice locals. Was a nice walk around and interesting for the kids

Spent a nice morning strolling through the bustling streets and exploring the various goods sold. Very charming and gives you a nostalgic look at how Greece used to be before big box stores arrived.

This is a few pedestrian streets with areas selling a wide variety of goods. The fish market is especially interesting. There are many stalls selling such goodies as halva. Yum. Worth the visit.

One of the larger and more colourful markets in Thessaloniki. The Sights sounds and smells of a fully working old fashioned market offering a wonderful variety of shops and stalls and great photo opportunites!

It is very close to Aristotelis square, and it is a great place to go to for street food lunch :) Also, i have bought a lot of souvenirs from here -there are local shops with local Greek products - good value for money.

most businesses and markets in Thessaloniki seem to open around 10am, with some groceries and of course cafes open earlier.
