Exhibits date back from the early christian to the post Byzantine. If going to the archeological museum of Thessaloniki museum, they do a ticket to both!

The museum has as main theme the old Christianity and show views of economic life, home and its equipment. It is really a very interesting report, as well as introduced samples and paintings. Furthermore it has information for iconoclasm and the Byzantine Empire.

The exhibits of the museum are not so many yet. However besides the style of the exhibition which is excellent, the building in itself is worth seeing. An architectural beauty.

Similar to the Archaeological Museum, it's not that large. we were able to see most of it in a few hours. Lots of massive pieces here and impressive displays. Not crowded. Would recommend.
