We was told about this place to go in the evening, so we went. What they didn't tell us was how late it opened, so we drove up in the pitch black, it was scary as hell I was expecting Jason to turn up and kill us all! 😩 It wasn't open! We left with pumping hearts but did return... More

this abandoned village is one of the highlights of the island and a must see. it has a really peaceful atmosphere and gives you an appreciation of what life used to be like on the island. the summer months hold a bar and music every night with a free bus to and from the town, well worth a go

We never got around to seeing the village during the day, but ended up going twice at night for drinks. The setting with the lit up houses at night is eerie and the view of the night sky is amazing. It's worth going just for the view. The drinks are ok, nothing special. What really detracts from the overall experience... More

We felt a magical attraction to this place, could almost feel the souls who lived here and abandoned this place. We visited at day time but also at night when the unique bar lightens the deserted houses and music comes to you like an echo from the old buildings...pure magic !!!!!

As the title suggests, very surreal experience. Fantastic views and certainly very memorable. Free shuttle bus there starts 11pm until 4 or 5am. Worth it for the view of the night sky alone.

Nuff said. It's abandoned. There is a late night bar in operation though, how weird is that. Free bus there and back so that says it all.

Amazing place. We walked around for ages and never saw another person. Great views, interesting history. We hiked from Lavadia and had a fantastic day out. We were told by the locals to go back, after dark, and visit the only bar there. Great for star viewing.

Drove up here on our scooter - quite a long walk from Livadia if you're unfit like me! Well worth a visit but probably best to go in the cooler part of the day
