Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tiny busy beach, very windy when we were there which is apparently common. Lots of sea urchins waiting for unsuspecting victims. Snorkeling was okay, saw a few different species of small fish. Gallissus beach much bigger with cleaner waters.

If you're staying in the area this is a good beach to seek out. Easy to get to. Very family oriented. Nice sand beach. Some chairs available but we preferred to find a nice sandy spot under tree shade which there is a number of places like this if you get there by 10:30. The sea is nice. Some gravel at entry, a few rocks to step around and then firm sand thereon. several places available ri take a mid day meal.

Between the road and the Aegean Sea lies a shallow sandy beach ideal for rock hounds and splashing in the shallow water. In some places the beach is narrow leaving little room to put up umbrellas; however most of this 800 meters of sand has plenty of space for a couple of families to sit or play together. The water gets deep slowly so it is safe for kids and non-swimmers. We are quite serious open water swimmers and we had a more than adequate space for our sixty minute swims in deep blue clear water.

Narrow beach, but nearby port with yacht closets, nothing for long stay. We made just one day trip from Galissas. You can find shade because of the trees.

A very "traditional Beach" in front of the small village of Finikas. It is very easily accessible by bus, actually the Bus Stop is just few meters from the beach. The waters are very clean especially with north winds, while it is very well protected by the "Meltemi" (Strong North Winds). Many Bars and restaurants nearby. It is very closed to Finikas Marina. Ideal for Families!

One of the best beaches of Syros, if not the best. Crystal clear water, not crowded, shower, tamarind trees for shade, ideal for tranquility, although underrated in a tourist guide of Syros
