Beautiful, picturesque village of Paros. With whitewashed, flowered houses, blue roofed chapels and churches glimmering under sun, is considered as perfect example of Cycladic architecture. So lose yourself in the labyrinth of narrow stone-paved streets tangle up in blue.

My hotel owner Arsenia recommended me to go to Lefkes and it was a perfect beginning for a long, relaxed, sunny day. I took the bus from Parikia town and enjoyed the road, which had very picturesque views. At this point I highly recommend to use public buses where available if you want to visit a village in Greek islands because... More

authentic, nice village. Just a few shops and tavernas. No big tourism, but that just makes it so wonderful and worth a visit!

Very picturesque and photogenic village. Definitely worth a wander down the maze of alleyways, have a stop in a cafe/taverna and look in the magnificent church. Full of atmosphere and did not feel touristy. Park at the top of the village and walk down.

In years past it was famous only for his Church which stands in the lower part of town and the Clarino restaurant where you can still eat the best of the restaurants kontosouvli island. The country runs between... More

We drove to this little village one morning and walked around the streets. There was a fantastic ceramic maker selling her wares. We bought two beautiful mugs from her. There are some little shops and restaurants. It is worth going up to and having lunch and a look around.

Lefkes is the old capital of the island, very rustic and traditional. I walked around the church and the narrow streets, had a drink at the cafe right in front of the church (great setting!), then I walked the byzantine path to Podromos. Great walk! Takes about an hour, it's pretty much all downhill, so quite easy, just make sure... More
