Don't miss this scenic mini Venice It has all sorts of restaurants, cafes and bars. On a windy day stay away from the waters unless you want to get wet haha Photos are mine @dreamsofcarthago on instagram

This is a excellent old harbor, reminds my of old Italian harbors I was very glad I found it, feels like I could spend many days here, well kept. Very pretty coloured buildings, great photo opertunities and great cafes

Several restaurants for every taste. There are also restaurants that that don't push their menus which is nice if you just want to walk in peace and find a proper one.

The lighthouse is a landmark of chania. The sunset is very beutiful and worth seeing. Would recommend a visit.

very crowded , the globalisation is here but the stones keep the enchantment of the past centuries. too many restaurant guide who try to attract you on their so common restaurant.

So interesting and the history is fascinating. We did a glass bottom boat tour and got the full low down on historical events and age (4th oldest city in Europe apparently). Stunning architecture and well worth a trip

Lots of museums and stunning churches in Chania Town centre , you can get the bus there and back direct from Platanias. We are still on Crete and have suffered the same weather. If you've transport you can travel up to the... More

I drove and parked in the underground multi story car park at the top of the old town by Zara. It cost me 8 euro And was very easy
