When you've had enough of baking yourself under the Cretan sun take a walk up to this family run traditional olive oil farm. We paid a few euros for a talk and tour. Our guide couldn't have been more informative.. Lots of machinery and stuff to check out plus lots of oils, honeys and our favourite, different flavoured raki (brandy)... More

The facility offers raw honey from bees which pollenate onsite. This is a family-run business by people who are passionate about their work. It is truly remarkable to see the various products that they have manufactured from simple honey and royal jelly-pollen to facial and body care. A must-see when you visit Agios Nikolaos!

An excellent experience to see how olive oil is really produced. Lots of information about local Greek agriculture, the guided tour is well worth doing, you learn so much more from their personal knowledge. A really good day out and we bought lots of nice things to take home with us.

Firstly, the Cretan Olive Oil Farm is beautiful and has excellent staff who make you feel very welcome from the moment you enter. I worked at a hotel kids club in Crete from July-November 2016 and was lucky enough to bring children aged 5-11 years old to the Olive Farm on a weekly basis where we would explore the farm,... Guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Came away feeling some of the enthusiasm had brushed off.

Try this out. It's small and simple but packed full of interesting stories and history. The shop and products are amazing too. The best olive oil I've tasted!

Pleasant small place which makes up for the lack of open local museums. Staff were kind and interesting to talk to. The artefacts were interesting and everything (including all the plants) were clearly labelled. Price to enter was 1.50 with a larger charge for full guided explanations. However when I asked to pay I was told not to worry if... More

This family owned attraction aims to educate visitors regarding Cretian olive oil production. Did you know that 20% of world Olive Oil production comes from Crete! We were welcomed by the father and son who conducted a brief tour and told us all we ever wanted to know about Olives and Olive Oil. There are some old presses and other... More
